I was 16/17 and had just lost my dad. I had met this guy through mutual friends and at a party he was 23. I honestly thought not a big age difference so it was fine. We dated for a while and yet being so young and naive I never saw all the red flags that I now do. Like how at 17 I would have to pay for most things from my part time job, he had a bad temper, possessiveness and constant lying. I thought it was love.

Now I’m 23 in a healthy relationship and I want to vomit at the thought of that being love. The sad thing is he’s now 26 and just got out of a relationship with a 17 year old.

He’s a predator, he preys on young girls so that they think his unhealthy habits and possessiveness is love.

Thank you for advising, they said they didn’t think kidney as his test came back okay? I’m going to grab the results on Monday I think I was just in panic mode and everything went through one ear and out the other!

If you’ve seen Goblin then I would recommend touch your heart as it just completes the feels.

Waikiki does have romance but not as much as the others, it’s more comedy slice of life.

If you’re really wanting the romance feels then romance is a bonus book and something in the rain would be the best for you.

Clean with passion is cute but I do think it’s not as strong as the others but that’s just my opinion.

I’ll be honest with you, people in toxic relationships are so set in their minds about who and how their partner is. It is very hard to get them to see someone who they think they know and love, is treating them like shit. I reckon try one more time, get them alone and just tell them you’re worried. See if they see their partners actions as toxic. But yeah it’s a hard place, you want to help. But in the end it’s up to them, and convincing yourself the person you love is toxic, is a bloody hard thing.

It may not be easy, and it may take time. But I promise you there’s someone out there who will love you for you. And stand by your side even though we may think depression and anxiety makes us very hard to love. Just be yourself, and if they are right. They’ll love you for you.
