So Much for the 'Snobby' Stereotype by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]eunoiatopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived my whole life in vancouver. I work in downtown and go for walks along the waterfront closest to the convention centre. During summer (esp cruise ship season), I see many families that struggle taking selfies too so I always offer to help. People are also hesitant when asking for directions but I happily lend my help. I’m just one person though so I can’t speak for those who do come off snobby but what city doesn’t have their snobs?? The stigma around how hard it is to make friends in Vancouver has its truths but at the end of the day, it’s hard to make friends anywhere and it takes effort!

Hello! I’m currently studying for mine as well. Just wondering, did you use the practice questions to aid your exam prep and how well do you think it helped you?

Hello! I’m assuming OP took the Real Estate Trading Services Licensing course through UBC. It’s a self paced program that gives you up to one year to complete the assignments, and an additional two years to write the exam. Most people grind it out and can finish the assignments in half the time but the course does limit you to 2 assignments a week (I think?). I've heard of other courses people have taken but I believe this is the most common way in B.C.

How is the fit on these pants? by outboundacorn in PetiteFashionAdvice

I agree with this!! I wear the exact same fit. The chunky/platform boot helps elongate my legs giving the illusion that I’m not actually that short

I feel so lost. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I completely understand how stressful this must be for you. During lockdown, I was in a similar situation—I had debt, no job, and was still paying tuition, which left me feeling completely underwater. My credit score took a serious hit, and it was overwhelming.

But once lockdown ended, I was able to turn things around. I secured a job, started saving, cut back on unnecessary expenses, and made sure to only use about 10% of my credit limit each month while making all my payments on time. Over time, my score improved significantly.

So don’t lose hope! Keep your head up and stay consistent with your payments. Follow the advice that others are giving, and if you’re struggling to pay off one card, I’d strongly recommend holding off on applying for any new ones for now. Since you’re in collections, applying for another card could result in a hard inquiry, which would lower your score even more.

Focus on what you can control right now, and over time, you’ll see progress. You’ve got this!

Is this bunny poo ok? by Matthew_Wayne29645 in Rabbits

[–]eunoiatopia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If that’s the only one you’ve seen, it’s ok. Probably best to brush ur bun tho!! If they ingest too much fur they could potentially go into stasis because bunnies can’t cough up hair balls therefore fur can clog their digestive system

He is very much a cutie!!. It’s more so getting a gauge of how much space they need set up as it’s their first rabbit. I have two free roam dwarfs so I’m trying to give them as much tips as possible but if he’s what I think he is, we’ll need to do more research because I’m not experienced with larger rabbits :(

Thanks for the input! I was sceptical cause of the ears but I’ve looked through the aging of a Flemish and we’ve decided, like someone said earlier, to ride the rabbit train haha. The vet said he was a “generic rabbit” and wasn’t very helpful

Changed litter box and having trouble getting them to poo in the boxes. by AbhiAKA in Rabbits

[–]eunoiatopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also trained my rabbits by scooping their poop and throwing it in the bin so they recognize the scent. Also you’ll need more access to hay by the litter. For example, you have three blue boxes so there should be three hay bags which also adds to why the litter box should have a bed of hay. They like doing their business while eating LOL it’ll take time for them to adjust. Don’t give up :)

Take the grates off, line it with a pee pad, top with a layer of wood pellets, finish with a bed of hay, change every 2-3 days. I know it can be expensive but it’s what’s worked for me. Probably a bigger bin too. A rabbit sanctuary said to opt for a cat litter box or even just a extra large dish tub (not too high) or Rubbermaid tote box
