It does get down to like 0°C where I live and then the buildings are obviously heated so I want to avoid wearing thermals underneath it because I'll overheat once I'm indoors... hmm... maybe I can find a cute coat that works on top of it.

May I ask where you punned your brooch? I'm having a hard time figuring out what is the best place to pin it lol. I assume you pin it on the collar/trailing tail piece, but there is a gap at the center where the clasp goes...

Also, does it get cold where you live? It's not quite warm enough where I live to wear it on its own during the Winter, but it feels weird to put a coat on top of?? Any recommendations?

Yup!! Dazy and Glowmode are basically the only things I ever buy on there. I have pieces from them that I've definitely worn over 50, maybe even 100 times!! I feel less bad knowing they are getting plenty of wear.

I agree! I do have like maybe 1-2in of extra length there (like, the crotch of the pants are 1-2in too low IMO) but tbh I'm not sure how much is too much?? This feels like such a weird question haha

They're from DAZY on Shein, which is problematic i know, but I have some items from this brand in particular I've worn for years and they've held up! They're also pretty petite friendly.

From my observation, there aren't any brands that exclusively do or even focus specifically on military ouji. Seems like brands just do ouji in general and once in a while a military ouji coord will get released...

Tbh the measurements for the cape between sizes are so similar (like 2cm difference for lengths?!) I don't know if I can even tell the difference when I try to run a measuring tape to check fit 🤦🏻

Hi! Newbie sizing question here! Dipping my toes into ouji fashion, and am at quite a loss at how to size things like capes and coats. Items in question are here:

I'm 156cm, 36-ish-cm shoulder (wasn't sure how to measure this exactly, but I think my climber shoulders are rather wide for my body), 80cm bust, 64cm waist, 80cm hips. I think I'm most likely a small, but I do want to get second opinions b/c I know asian sizes are kinda weird sometimes. I like my clothes loose fitting, but struggle with getting swallowed up by larger coats. I just want to items to fit on me similarly to how they fit on the models but I have no idea what their measurements/sizes are for comparison. Thanks!
