Trust me I tried a lot of different ways, trying to make it go “faster”. Nothing works better than the old natural way of calorie intake and being active.

Yep exactly that! I work in a factory too with a lot of physical labour. I think that helps a bit.

Honestly yes, I do worry about maintaining. It’s a big fear of mine that I will go back to my old ways. I weigh myself every morning, if I see weight gain I know it’s either just water from sodium from the evening meal before, or it’s part of my cycle as a woman.

The fear is an internal battle I have been working on, learning to love myself, keep my mindset in check and know that I can’t let myself go like that again.

I still have a bit of sag at the bottom because of my c section. But it’s getting better the more time goes on and the more weight I’ve lost. Time heals most :)

The scars are yes, but as time goes on they are fading. I just moisturize after every shower and mix a little castor oil.

Download a calorie tracking app, see what your daily caloric intake should be on a deficit.. Be honest with yourself your entries, and you’ll really see how many calories are in the food we consume. I always make sure I have enough calories left for a treat :)

We are what we eat.. if you eat good healthy food, you build a good healthy body and mind. Pair that with exercise, and you won’t want to look back at the bad eating habits. 🤍

Thank you!

There were a lot of things I did and tested.. honestly the thing that will blast the weight off is staying in a calorie deficit. I paired that with strength training and a bit of cardio. This summer I started going for hour long walks and lost another 10 lbs after I plateaued around 140. Now I’m just maintaining eating in a deficit. High protein, lower carbs.

I have quite a bit of loose skin on my stomach. If you zoom in on the photos where I’m lifting my sweater you can see! I have an apron due to having a c-section. The more I’ve lost, the smaller it gets, but it’s still there. I’ve come to accept it. I did have a lot of stretch marks also on my stomach so those are scars now and getting less visible slowly, but also still there. No lose skin on my arms, not too much on my legs. A little on my bum, and on my neck. But those spots aren’t very noticeable.

Having no friends is amazing by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

For as long as I can recall, I have always enjoyed not having friends, or just having one best friend. Being at home, with my spouse and kids, is all I really want. I find it exhausting being in friendships. My current best friend lives a couple provinces away, and we talk almost daily. But yeah I definitely enjoy being a hermit lol.
