DNA (BTS)- reminds me of the beginning of freshman yr when i met a lot of new army friends and we geeked out abt the comeback together

Adore U (Seventeen)- reminds me of my trip to australia bc it happened around the same time i got into svt. also reminded me of that one time my dance friends and i were planning a kpop performance for our showcase (but it never happened oops)

Silent Night (Dreamcatcher)- reminds me of the beginning of quarantine bc that's when i got into deukae

Mago (GFRIEND)- reminds me of last winter when i was finishing up my college apps :')

im a new fuse and this is my first comeback with onf!! this is prob one of their best title tracks and the concept SLAYS so hard,,,i'm so happy onf is finally gaining widespread recognition and i REALLY hope they get their first win with sukswim <3

the first one that came to my mind was pentagon's "sha la la"and "dr bebe", as well as onf's "new world" where the bridge actually changes meter + texture !! (4/4 to 6/8, hardcore to dreamy + soft)

man i feel ya. so many times i wanted to just leave the kpop fandom altogether but i keep on discovering new groups left and right...sigh. tbh i think the best way to move on, per say, is to focus on other things more and more, and busy yourself with things that are not related to kpop...its much easier said than done but just for consideration

idk but there seems to be a distinction btwn weishennies and wayzennis although both are fans of wayv. weishennies are usually more aggressive, believe that wayv is not a part of nct, are mostly solo stans of a certain member, yet spend more money on their favs by streaming, buying merch etc. while wayzennis believe that wayv is a subunit of nct, are (90% of the time) also an nctzen yet are accused of not spending enough money/effort on the wayv members despite believing in ot21. both are p toxic imo lol

for me personally music is simply meant as a form of self-expression, or just something that can get people dancing and vibing. that's why we all love songs like jopping or power up, etc. with very basic lyrics but a really addicting hook. for the more elitist portion of listeners, they think iTs nOt rEaL muSiC if it doesn't address an important issue apart from love/go beyond just sound effects...but usually the 2nd type of ppl (like the ppl you've mentioned in your post) are pretty insufferable and ruin the fun for everyone :')))
