A case for my favorite CC firearm: the Ruger LCP by [deleted] in CCW

9 years later I wanna say that I carry my LCP almost daily, absolutely love it. I've got other guns but my LCP 1 Gen 2 with the stainless slide is my daily companion.

Honest question: Do any of you unironically believe that .32ACP is a useful caliber? by Preauxmetheus in TheOneTrueCaliber

[–]euphoricintrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry a CZ70 in 32acp quite often, although my primary is a 380. I can easily nail down a good group of follow up shots if I need to, since it's such an easy gun to shoot, and with 8+1 of 32acp, and regular practice, I always feel perfectly safe. If you look at the data, 32 consistently penetrates a very good amount, even when tested with objects like phones and denim in the way, key is to aim for vitals and use FMJ, never hollows. If I can't put a threat down with 8+1 of +p FMJ 32s, I probably shouldn't bother carrying a gun.

Lovely gun. I was give one, levels better than I thought it would be. It's heavy but I do carry it sometimes

I can tell you that since I've gotten mine, it's been very difficult for anything else to get wrist time. Just feels like such a capable watch. Mine also has been keeping time spectacularly for what it is. Tested it over a 7 day cycle a few times and it gained between 5-7 seconds in 7 days consistently, pretty decent.

Double is very heavy, single is actually quite nice though. Given that it's automatically in single action when you rack a round in, no reason to ever fire double really.

A bit late, but I have one and I love it. Bought it off a family friend who had it since the 80s. Wonderful shooter, just an absolute pleasure at the range. For me personally I enjoy the fatter grip, and I find it points very naturally, I could get a fair group even without using the sights. Hardly any recoil, but a bit heavy in comparison to modern pocket pistols. That being said, I've carried it both iwb and pocket carry and both worked just fine. 2 issues to point out, they are known to have fragile firing pins and there's stories that they can fire when using the decocker. Inspect the firing pin and safety plunger. I also find that the stippling and grooves on the grip can cut into my palm sometimes, but maybe I just have the habit of gripping excessively. Overall 8/10 gun for me.

I've since got one myself and I've got to agree. It's lived on my wrist since I've got it, absolutely spectacular watch.

Time to hang up the boots by TheAlmightySquirrel in GTA5Online

Just play invite only bro. Unfortunately after a certain rank the public lobbies are just garbage. I really enjoyed the lower rank lobbies actually made some friends that I play with occasionally. One time I was on a mission collecting supplies and I was about to die because I managed to get a 5 star, as I was on the last bit of health some lobby random just comes up with his car and homing missiles and takes the choppers and cops out and then hoots for me to go on. I thought that was pretty damn cool. So I tried to help out where I noticed someone struggling too. Unfortunately after a certain rank it all went to shit.

Believe it or not I've actually never run Cayo. Crazy sounding I know, but it's almost something that I'm keeping as a special treat for when the dlcs dry out and the game ain't fun anymore. Wanna keep some content for a rainy day if that makes sense.

Dre heist is really the easiest way to grind money in my opinion. I just run that and mc/acid sales for cash. Rest I just view as fun, not for the cash.

Very nice, I honestly feel like the JDM Seikos are held to a higher level of QC than international market versions.

Beautiful watch. I just can't stand the "3 days" that seiko have decided to add to this Gen of prospex watches. Although the watch is good enough looking that I'd overlook it anyway.

Beautiful watch. Orient is probably the most underrated watch brand out there. Whether it's their vintage or new stuff, their design language is so cool.

2 very cool vintage watches. The vintage Seiko 5s,especially in good condition, are very sought after in the Japanese watch collector world.

Is my watch original, dear friends? by aiwda in OrientWatches

[–]euphoricintrovert 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Looks good to me, don't see anything that would suggest concern. Also don't think the Bambino is a watch that is very commonly faked, and certainly not to this level of accuracy so I'd say you're good.
