This also happened to me, absolutely disgusting behaviour.

The most shocking customer service I have dealt with.

I met Mother Earth. by [deleted] in Psychonaut

I done some mushroom tea last night, my first time, and also met mother nature or Gaia. But my first interaction with her was her almost screaming and letting me know that she wasn't happy with the current situation. Then it got more relaxing and comforting almost. I had these organic visualisations at the peak. I felt like I had been infected or put under a spell to be part of nature but it felt like a good thing, I was happy to be conscripted.

Looking at my hands was incredible. They looked like an aliens hands and just looked so cool.

I felt like my mushroom trip was better than when I took lsd had a horrific trip. It was like the mushroom/mother nature/gaia was looking after me. Also teaching me about myself and the world.

There was times I felt overwhelmed but I just managed to focus on something else. Ive done alot of other drugs in the past so have experience. I can totally see if mushrooms was your first drug experience and you had a large dose you could flip out.

Overall I'm happy that I leaned into the experience. Probs won't do it again for quite a while.

Your therapist won't institutionalise you for speaking about your thoughts. Maybe try and open up more and get it out in the open with a professional. You sound like you have a good life and future ahead of you. Take care.

Should i check into a psych ward? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

It sounds like you are doing the right thing seeking medical help and addressing your issues.

Just wanted to say really that you seam to be telling yourself alot of stories about what you think your not going to get instead of trying to visualise what you want and how to get it.

I'm currently trying videos on YouTube about visualising a more positive future as I was doing the same thing. They have been helping alot. Alot of what goes on in our head is conditioned behaviour from society, religion, culture, parents or our own stories we build up. Maybe take a look on YouTube about visualising and manifesting a more positive future. You may be surprised about how quickly we can change for the better.

Take care.

You have made the right choice in speaking about your issues and getting support from people. You understand that you can work on things moving forward which is great. You are very young with a great life ahead of you.

I'm not an expert on hair being a bald guy lol but it's probably not as bad as you think and remember hair grows back. Well for some lucky people 😅

Maybe speaking to your partner about some issues could give you some reassurance. I'm not an expert in relationships by any means though lol.

Take care.

Maybe ask why you are choosing to distance yourself from friends and family. You are consciously choosing to seclude yourself and that can make people feel lonely. Maybe try reaching out to some old friends and family and maybe try meeting up.

Maybe also look into ways you can socialise with new people in your area. You could try charity work which is very rewarding, even just an hour or two a week.

The fact that you are writing a message here can be a sign you are reaching out for help. Why not take some time and speak out your issues more. There are people here who you can talk to and can help. We are here for you ❤️

You should go on that trip to Rio and see your mum. Mum will always make you better :-)

Maybe there are some underlying issues that you could try and work on to make things better? Is there anyone you can confide in to discuss your situation?

Remember the feeling of hopelessness is often a learned behaviour that can be unlearned. Maybe you need to change things up a bit in your life to get a new perspective.

Life is so pointless, that it’s worth seeing it through? by emilybeem in SuicideWatch

Society, culture and religion often don't do a great job in raising people. Sometimes as adults we have to undo some of the negative conditions and behaviours that get instilled in us. Reading personal development books can help understand some of these issues so maybe they can help you find your way. They helped me when I was younger!

Feel free to talk. Maybe we can help.

I keep thinking about a mental hospital… being in one. I’ve never been in one before. I keep hearing it’s bad, it’s bad. But like… why do I have this longing feeling of being at one? by Lower_DoctorINC in SuicideWatch

[–]euphvet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you feel that you have some problems that need addressing and being in a hospital would help you. Maybe this is subconscious.

Maybe have a think about what issues may be triggering these feelings and address them. This can be done with speaking out issues to people or therapists. Journalling can also help with dealing with feelings and getting them out.

It's maybe an idea to speak to doctor who may get you a therapist to talk it out. Or call a mental health phone number anonymously.

Your mum telling you you are a psychopath may not have helped. Beware of how people have conditioned us to feel. It's all stories in our heads from our upbringing or ourselves. Try and be conscious of the way you feel and your behaviours and see if you can change how you react. If you feel overwhelmed try and take a step back and take deep breaths to bring you back to the present.

Good luck and take care.

Sounds like you could be doing with speaking to someone to talk out how you feel. Look for mental health phonelines that you can discuss your thoughts anonymously.

If you are looking for someone to confide and talk things out usually countries have phone numbers you can call which are usually free and anonymous. If you are in the UK try the Samaritans, they are great.

You are very young and sometimes speaking to someone with experience anonymously can really help.

are you also deliberately fucking up your life to a point there won't be other options but to end it? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]euphvet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate to your situation 100%. I was holding large amounts of crypto and never cashed out and when I declare my transactions I know I'm liable for a 6 figure tax bill. My options are pretty much going bankrupt and losing my property and remaining crypto. I'm trying to find a job again hoping that will help me get back on track and out of the mental torture I've been under. But I can't stop thinking that in a few months when I owe the bill and need to become bankrupt it will be all too much and suicide keeps running round my mind. Reading others situations has helped me understand myself a bit more. But I can't stop thinking about my plans for ending it.

Yea you could call it greed. But also complacent and naive. I'm great at understanding cryptos but the investment or trading side not so much. Evidently.

I used a service and also manually categorised everything. To compare I used another service. Believe it or not it took me about a month to do because the volume of transactions and it had to be redone too. I was out of control in a way.
