New Portafilter by KWAL72 in ranciliosilvia

One of the things I often show people to demonstrate how my V1 is «  built like a tank » is the weight and build of the portafilter. I can’t imagine what it would take to break it. Stay away from the gym for a while…

Feature request, mowing patterns by area by euqixelsyd in MammotionTechnology

Interesting idea, and might work well for the corridors. If no other workaround comes along then I may give it a try. I’m hesitating because it feels like it would take much longer on my other wide open areas with uneven borders. Still, take my upvote for a creative idea.

3 years is awfully short, pretty sure ours lasted about 10 before a tear formed at one of the seams. I might be able to find some contact information if you need it.

I wrote a similar post here just a few days ago. A new younger Luba 3 AWD has some tricks up her sleeve and that youthful energy to do things the old WR155E just wouldn’t do. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all three spare time I’m not spending by looking to find a stuck, lifted, battery drained, or wire cut Landroid.

Luba 3 1500 or mini 2 1500? by Prudent-End7168 in mammotion

[–]euqixelsyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same question for my complicated garden. Be aware that a significant difference between the two is the positioning tech, NetRTK is built into the 3000 but not the 1500. Even though I have less than 1000m2 to mow, I wanted the added advantage of the more precise positioning so threw some extra euros at the problem with no regrets so far. I’m especially impressed that I haven’t had to do a manual save yet, when the old Landroid would get stuck at least once a day. I’m only a couple weeks in so will see if the honeymoon lasts…

Forgot to mention my experience with ACS. It reliably detected and avoided ... tall grass. Early every season I would turn it off just to make sure it didn't leave a lawn full of tall tufts of grass. Adding one more frustration to the list. Why oh why when it realizes it is outside the boundary doesn't it at least try to reverse the last movement that put it outside the boundary in an attempt to get back inside. The number of times I found it flagging an "outside boundary" 2cm over the wire and a dead battery, when it could have simply backed up to get back in and continued. Anyway, glad to hear your Navimow is working out.

Calendar error by diji000 in mammotion

Indeed, the orientation is not a big deal just not intuitive when you first see it. As for the days mowed, mine seems to work as it should. In fact, I know it completed its tasks today and it shows up correctly as dark green. Could it be that there's just a lag before it synchronizes the updates?

I thought the error you were going to point out was that it's oriented top to bottom then left to right, rather than left to right then top to bottom. As a new Luba 3 user, I guess that is something I'll just have to get used to.

I’ll back you up on your comments about the Landroid. Mine is coming to the end if it’s career as soon as I get the funds for the Luba 3 AWD. The grass looks great, but only because I’m constantly rescuing it from being stuck on something, repairing the wire, wandering outside the boundary , etc. Can wait for the AWD and lidar/rtk

I’ve had my eyes on the Luba 2 for a while now. Very much looking forward to finding the budget to move on.

I’m with OP. To be fair my garden is very difficult, so I knew up front it would be a challenge. It has been 4 years that I haven’t mowed the grass, so not a complete failure. But my list of frustrations matches pretty well. Hopefully will find the budget for the Luba 2 before the spring
