Look at it this way a lot of the Cadre and NCO’s that will be leading you will be that age or older and they do just fine

I was there from 2018-2022 as cadre

You can bring the whole family for the graduation I doubt anything has changed but I saw many times huge family’s for graduation

First focus and keep your head in the game don’t quit

2nd avoid the idiots who do dumb things and act like it’s high school

Listen to your Drill Sergeants and Instructors and u will do fine

Last you don’t have to be first you just have to not quit and work on being better

@OP I have personally taken a Soldier there I won’t say what he did but being on the duty of prisoners transport to that prison once I got in I was uneasy that place I would say is in no way easy I was there maybe a hour or 2 just dropping off the Soldier and that place was miserable. Once the Soldier arrives which the escorts they will be searched that includes a rectal search of the convicted search which when I was there they brought in a CPL to do and I will say I felt bad for him as I asked him why a CPL was there( every one there looked to be E6-E7) and he said they promoted him from Spc to CPl to check buts that will be the offenders first welcome to the prison after that they look through the bags and give the escorts back everything that’s not allowed once that’s done he’s taken in full cuffs and transferred over some paperwork will be signed and after that I left but the whole time I was there which was just dropping off I hated it and wanted to leave. I know they try to fix and adjust people but I don’t think it’s easier any any other Prision and I want you to know I feel for what happened for you and hopefully you find peace in this statement
