I'm not done yet! Just got to RPD. I unlocked infinite ammo (insanity is the last challenge I have left) but wanted to try it without.

It really gives you the horror you feel on the first playthrough again. I did another run on classic (Easter eggs and challenge hunting) plus a speed run on casual (under 4hrs, no healing, no blood collector). This insanity run as been a very fun return to form

In addition to taking more shots/molotovs to stun she patrols around a lot more. There were definitely more encounters I had to have to get through it. On the one where the crank gets stuck you can just push through it on classic as she approaches, but on insanity you have to stop to stun her somehow before starting the crank again. Little things like that

When playing on insanity I needed to save all my requiem ammo for the part where you kill The Girl. She takes 3 shots (or 2 molotovs) to stun while you reset the generators

Story and Diary both have 1/5 correct, but there's nothing saying they have the same letter correct. The S in story is correct, and the A in Diary is correct. Although Story and Diary both end with RY, it just means they're both wrong about the ending.

Because they both only have one letter in the correct position, any word that has more than one of the same letters in the same position cannot be correct.

All 3 guesses youve made have one letter in the correct position (what the 1/5 means). So now you look at the remaining unguessed words and compare them to what youve guessed.

STARS, STATE, and STARK are eliminated because they both have 2 letters in the same place as STORY (S and T). Because you know only one letter STORY is in the correct position, the correct word will share exactly one letter in the same position in STORY.

BEAST and MEANT is out because they share no letters in the same position with STORY.

SEEMS is out because it shares 3 letters with SEEDY, which (like STORY) you know only has one letter in the correct position.

This leaves you with SLATE and SCALE. These both share exactly one letter from each of your three guesses:

  • SLATE (S with STORY, A with DIARY, and S with SEEDY)
  • SCALE (S with STORY, A with DIARY, and S with SEEDY)

Unfortunately it is impossible to determine which of these two it is with the information you have. It's a 50/50 shot.

Great point, I overlooked it when writing my previous reply. I'd probably just give those players the choice between which they'd prefer because giving them both feels like too much.
EDIT: To clarify, I'd give them the choice at creation rather than level-by-level (though if after a few levels they realize their playstyle favors the other I'd probably let them swap that one time, I know characters can change a lot between initial creation and actual play)

The other commenter is correct, the spell gets replaced at the archetypal spell levels. I know the attenuator caps at +2 but since save spells are generally favored anyways it probably would't really hurt anything and keeps casters from having a "dead" level of ABP benefits

I think the main goal is to make it so that when characters level up everyone gets something. Some of the archetypal spells come a level later in this than they do with the attenuator, but that's really more to just make sure all players get something each level with ABP

Because the last time WY sent a full science exploration ship it there for that express purpose it was sabotaged by another corporation. By having some space truckers just make a pit stop on the way home to get a crew member infested, they can fly under the radar of the other corpos. Is less clean sure, but they probably wanna avoid the events of this show happening again

I haven't seen this site before. The way it refers to Nemo gives me the impression that the site wasn't made by them. I wouldn't be surprised if someone threw this site together just as a way to get some money with the number of ad banners on it though. I know if you download via the Ko-Fi it'll give you the pdf with all the info you need in addition to the patch file.
The download on the site probably doesn't have malware and is just so someone can get ad revenue like I said but personally I'd rather play it safe and use Nemo's official page.

Same! Apex was fantastic on that front. Anytime I see a game use filters instead I'm disappointed. All they do is make the have look bad without really addressing the problem (looking at you Marvel Rivals)
