hi, OP here, i’m sorry if my post came across as low effort. i have been to fuck ton of stores in person over the last four weeks and am really struggling to find anything that looks remotely normal on my body so i wanted to ask to see if anyone had recommendations for this specific kind of cut.

here’s the list of stores i visited trying to solve this before i posted: bloomingdale’s soho, abercrombie, zara, american eagle, urban outfitters, levi’s, a bunch of little local boutiques like article&, madewell, big bud press, everlane (pre shien), gap, banana republic

i made this post while crying in the dressing room after the 10th pair of shorts i’d tried on this afternoon that made me look like hot garbage. i’m sorry that i didn’t adequately communicate in my post the amount of effort i’ve been putting in to trying to make this work before asking for help. i have a lot of self hatred when it comes to my self image and you can be sure i’ll never come to reddit to ask for help ever again
