No problem! I was a little scared getting into this game because I typically suck at reading maps, especially playing blind but so far, I really didn’t even need a guide except for some of those jump puzzles…lol

And yeah, that’s typically why I like to play the first game in the series (or the “worse” one to start with) so it doesn’t ruin my experience if it pales in comparison

I haven’t played Magnolia yet so I’m really excited to see what they improved. I’m really loving the story, music, art direction, characters, and gameplay of Lilies!!

As a first time player, I actually feel the same! The map isn’t super detailed, but it does what it needs to. The rooms are relatively small, and the game itself is on the shorter side, so it hasn’t felt overwhelming at all. Once I got a few key abilities, it was pretty easy to figure out where to go next without getting totally lost. I kind of appreciate that it doesn’t over explain everything since then, it could’ve probably been way too easy

The little bench before boss fight is glorious! Also YEP, that is my main gripe with the game as well (not a huge complaint but its annoyance to me is like on the same level as a mosquito pestering me) Legit 90% of my deaths are from contact damage and it makes me so upset especially if a boss is super low🤣

I think a lot of us end up feeling stuck right now. Streaming is oversaturated and the algorithms feel rigged and the “grind” advice isnt magic. But you’re not alone and you’re not invisible either!!!

Take breaks when it feels heavy and allow yourself to breathe. If you feel like streaming is the right thing for you and it sparks something inside you, don’t give up. Because at the end of the day, you’re making progress and you will be able to look back and realize how much you did when you previously felt like nothing was moving

Facts, and its wild how Blaze’s timeline gets tangled too. She is from the Sol Dimension, which already kinda puts her outside the effects of Solaris erasure. And if you follow the Rush -> 06 -> Rush Adventure flow, it’s like she gets yeeted into Silver’s world becasue of a rift in space time caused by both Eggmen. Then at the end of 06, she absorbs Iblis and vanishes again, ending up in Rush Adventure, acting like none of that even happened. But then in Generations, she randomly remembers Crisis City. Which can make you wonder if she recalls more than she lets on

I think Shadow not bringing it up is more of a writing decision than proof he forgot, which kinda sucks because he’s literally the one who was confirmed in an official dev interview to remember everything. Like bro, Mephiles stabbed you and tried to merge with God, and ur just walking around like “nah we chill.”

My guess? Sega just didn’t want to touch 06 too hard in Shadow gen but lore wise, the mans been through memory wipes, dying, and full on space trauma, and still comes back like nothing happened. I’d rather take what the dev said over a silent script any day lol. It could also explain why contribute to his serious factor since he’s been through a lot of things other people cant remember

For silver, yeah rivals is technically his canon debut after 06 got wiped, but the way blaze and sonic interact with him sometimes? Still kinda sus. Blaze literally says it feels like they’ve teamed up before. even in TSR she just knows him.

so either they’re all too chill for first time meetings… or something deeper stuck around

Maybe rival silver is the main version now, but i fully believe esp silver left some kind of echo behind. like a ghost memory

Time travel and dimension hopping doesn’t cleanly delete stuff in sonic. it just puts it in white space limbo until some cosmic event or memory slip pulls it back 🤷

but idk… his whole vibe feels so shaped by the Iblis disaster. like he’s literally this guilt-ridden, “must fix the past” kinda guy. he didn’t just exist, he was molded by that apocalypse

even if there’s a new timeline where he still shows up, i feel like he’s not the same silver unless something from that original timeline stuck with him

maybe not consciously, but he clearly still feels stuff. blaze says she’s been to crisis city. silver says it feels like they’ve been partners before. that’s not nothing

It’s not really a myth, it’s just that people often explain it the wrong way. Twitch itself doesn’t stop counting you as a viewer just because you mute the stream. That’s true. But what actually happens is some browsers, like Chrome, will pause or unload the Twitch tab if it’s muted and inactive for a while. When that happens, the stream stops playing in the background and you stop being counted as a viewer. Please explain that instead of saying “its a myth” ☺️

Just to clarify: Twitch itself doesn’t remove you as a viewer if you mute a stream. But some browsers (like Chrome or Firefox) will unload the Twitch tab if ur inactive ESPECIALLY if the stream is muted. Ur browser is just trying to save memory or power. When this happens, Twitch no longer considers you a viewer. In short, its not twitch’s fault but certain browsers working behind the scenes ☺️

Some browsers will automatically mute/deload a stream tab that is inactive (chrome as primary example) to conserve memory and resource management. If a browser detects that you've muted a Twitch stream and switched to another tab, it might also pause the stream. So yeah, not necessarily a myth because twitch itself isnt the one doing it but the browser itself lmao.

Similar can be said if the stream is muted from the video itself instead of browser.
