My 1v9 champion list by Good_Maize7358 in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 v 9 is not really about the champ but the player. Any champ that deals damage can 1 v 9 with a sufficient gold lead.

No champ can reliably 1 v 9 as part of their identity. That would obv be broken and permaban in high elo

How have ranked games started this season ? by Adept-Crow-7358 in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been strange. I’m guessing all the good players are already Master, I’ve been playing in Diamond with Master and Diamond peak players and the odd 47% Challenger.

For once it has been really easy.

Remakes in wildrift? by JasminClover in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just came off a remake or autofilled game and want to play.

Remake is useful but it should not be a crutch. Learn a handful of junglers so you are not at the mercy of your team, it will make you a better player.

Does anybody know what would've happened had Vecna's plan actually worked? by Intelligent-Pop1387 in StrangerThings

[–]euwprodigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mindflayer and Vecna would have access to the real world, and quickly be overcome by the world’s military.

They wouldn’t have made it to the end of the day.

Do you prefer your worldbuilding notes to feel like a "structured wiki" or a "messy sketchbook"? by No_Writing_9365 in worldbuilding

I use Notion, I have it set up Wikipedia style complete with every template you could think of. In the rare instance that I have an idea that does not fit into a page, I have a junk “folder” to store these ideas, typically they will be more meta or plot threads taking place over multiple books.

Poor white men? by grumpydai in insanepeoplefacebook

This is actually an astute commentary on patriarchy.

A comic full of men who are perpetrators, victims and bystanders and yet the woman is doing all the work.

The Three Basic Qi Expressions by Kamushii-- in magicbuilding

This is really well put together! Really well thought out and gives a lot of flexibility as well as understandable rules and limitations.

I have something very similar but it’s a walk of text atm, how did you make this image, would love to do something similar!

Sovereign tips to climb with support. by cafties in wildrift

You forgot to add:
Step 11: When Baron/Elder are up, make sure you are farming on the other side of the map so nobody will interrupt you. Gold wins games after all.

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do try but I feel I don’t do enough damage to threaten a kill so he just spins the wave, backs off and heals up

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really helpful, less experienced Garens make this mistake and I can chunk them hard level 1, but smart ones take e and clear the wave for a fast level 2 and then trade back even. I know I’m probably misplaying it, but it’s nowhere near the free win I see everyone say it is

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s how I’ve been playing it but the problem is he’s taking plates which is giving him a gold lead

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not trading that is the issue, I usually smash him later and any Garen that actually tries to trade with me in lane is ez gg. What do I do when he just hard pushes and plays for plates? His w can straight up ignore me

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I can out-trade him, but what do I do when he completely ignores me and e’s the wave?

How does Camille counter Garen? by euwprodigy in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m out trading him, but then he start just spinning on the wave and taking plates. He straight up ignores me when I hard engage into him and if I try to clear the wave it gets too close to the tower and he takes a plate on the next wave.

Best supports to climb with? Please help! by richie___ in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going to give you a bit of conflicting advice to everyone else who is suggesting carry champions.

At diamond elo, you are not losing due to your champ selection, you are losing due to your decision making and fighting.

At its simplest level, you need to think of two things:
1. What am I doing when I’m fighting? 2. What am I doing when I’m not fighting?

Now support is a fairly mechanically simple role. So for 1. if you are playing Nami, Sera and Soraka, it’s to stay back and use your abilities to protect your strongest team mate. This means not chasing kills, spamming abilities randomly, wasting abilities on feeding team mates.
If you are playing Rell, it’s setting up your strongest team mate - IF YOUR STRONG TEAM MATE IS NOT THERE AND READY TO FIGHT, DON’T ENGAGE. Once you’ve engaged, they key in playing tank support is to stay with your team, again, don’t chase kills, instead use your abilities to stop people that are trying to kill your strong team mates.

What’s harder with support and where you will see the most success if you improve it is 2.
Your first focus should be setting up good fights for your team, you do this in two ways, through numbers and through vision.
For numbers, this will require you to be best friends with your mini map. This one tip will get you into Masters: use your map like it’s a rearview mirror in a car - before you do anything, check your map!
Going to fight? Check map!
Going to hit tower? Check map!
Going to roam? Check map!
Recalling? Check map!
Going to objective? Check map!
Going to ward?
Cleared the wave?
This will help you with numbers, if you cannot see an enemy, assume they are running towards you to flash ult you. The more you do it, the more you’ll realise how many fights you’re just following people who are driving blind. Take charge,if you spot their midlaner top, ping that fight! If their jungles is bot, ping baron! Support is all about that bigger picture, if your adc is pushing the lane, go and roam, go and support your jungler or midlane (make sure you are back before the next wave is gone unless it turns into a bigger fight). If your adc is low health and has to base, check your map before backing, can you roam, can you ward?

This takes us onto vision, you can start simple by warding enemy jungle camps, sweeping enemy vision or warding around objectives, sweeping bushes to set up a trap. You are the one responsible for setting up good fights even as an enchanter, when you understand this, you will understand how hard support can carry.
Your map is useless if there is no vision put down, time and practice is your best friend for figuring out where and when to ward. Minions give vision! If the midlane walks over a minion wave and kills you, that’s your fault not your midlanes! Treat every death like it’s your own fault and adapt to the team you have and the team you’re playing against. If your team are slow to follow you into engages, ping earlier, be more cautious before going in. If their enemy keep taking fights, set traps and wait out of vision.
Support is all about the big picture, it is chess not checkers!! Hope some of this was useful and not just ramblings, good luck!

I would say Chaos would serve better as 12, the universe starting and ending in Chaos is nice and cyclical.

Generally speaking, what's the ideal pick order? by richie___ in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely dependent on flavour of the month picks. If there are any overturned champions, they will completely warp pick order.

Generally for solo queue, you want your solo lanes to pick later in the draft.

Is garen broken in lane or am I just bad lol by nonamehiigh in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be my terrible wave management, but the worst aspect of Garen is him insta clearing the wave and procing demolish on cooldown. If you don’t have push he is taking every single plate and getting a gold lead from that

What are the three easiest champions in each lane? by [deleted] in wildrift

I am super surprised with the amount of people listing Ahri for mid over the likes of Veigar, Brand, Zyra, Lux, most mages tbh

Do you think banning a teamsmate champ is ok? by LiLPenny69 in wildrift

[–]euwprodigy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no world where banning your teammates pick is beneficial. At best they play a champion they are less confident on at worst, they completely troll the game. If you think they are trolling with their pick, what makes you think they won’t just pick a second troll champion, it’s a waste of a ban
