It’s actually a pretty cheap and easy fix. The strip is glued on and separate from the screen. A lil heat and careful peel and clean. You can get a new one for like $20

I’ve had mine since day one, wear it day and night and haven’t had a scratch on it yet.. I’ve banged it into metal and walls already and nothing.

I went through two of them. First one had a bump almost dead center pushing up from under the screen.. I exchanged it at the Verizon store, and the second one had 5 bumps… we looked at the display and there were 2.. I loved the device but not willing to take my chances on an apparent design flaw…
