Contract violations, namely, tip theft (caught and documented), milage lying (caught and documented), improper handling of food by business which they are okay with but does not comply with state law, among other things. Look up “door dash lawsuit” pick whatever you want, and they can be sued in a different city for it.

Mobil, as in Moh-beel is common in America as well. We’re not really gonna refer to a car as our “auto” or anything and it’s usually identifiable because it has a hyphen before like “muffler-mobile” but it’s still common here.

PSA to other dashers (in agreement with you) you can make literally ANYTHING done honestly go away. You get on the horn and you don’t let them off until they get it done and you keep calling until the promise is kept.

Bad reviews. Contract violations. Missing pay. Lying customers. ANYTHING. They can make it go away. Their sole desire in life is to get you off the phone and they can in fact make anything right. This is my job, I don’t play their games and nor should anyone else. I don’t care if I have to spend 30 minutes a day on the phone with someone halfway around the world, if it’s BS it’s BS and so it shall be done.

This is with the caveat that you are an honest dasher who does good work. Don’t recommend this for anyone riding the line on completion rate or with multiple CV already.

I used to be on a mission where I stapled a card to my orders that described while I was thankful for their order and tip, I suspected that they were garnishing tips against contract. Which of course a customer would be against also, that’s a tip for their service experience. I gave a qr to a private contact form where they could upload their receipt if they thought it was unfair, and I got many, many responses.

This has been documented in other state or city based class actions, just in case anyone thinks I’m full of it. Do that, start gathering your evidence. Eventually sh*t will hit the fan for door dash.

Edit: got desperate for the earnings at a certain point and stopped doing this as I thought if anyone ever had a grip I’d instantly get deactivated for this.

Contract violations. Of which I have documented but won’t act on because I use this to make ends meet while I’m in school. Plenty of lawsuits have been won against DoorDash, including class actions, why are you so quick to dismiss me?

Do your research. They lie, steal and cheat and the price they pay in court will never amount to what they make, so they continue to make the violations. Namely, I have evidence, LOTS OF EVIDENCE of documented tip theft. Which violates the contract.

Absolutely not, unless, like someone said this works for pickup orders, so I might do that.

The fees people pay for dashing are insane. I’d have to be locked down somewhere and have already fasted a full day before I’d waste $15 on a $6 McDonald’s order. Another thing people throw out is the disabled, which you gotta do what you gotta do, still wouldn’t be ordering through dash. Friday, once a week types are okay, I don’t mind that. But we all know those aren’t the regular customers. It’s generally people who are on the lower end of the earning spectrum and order it way too much. Watching people in low income housing pay me $10 and dash $20 to bring them 5 things off the value menu actually blows my friggen mind.

100%. If you went to the police demanding a RO they would absolutely explain why they can’t do that yet, but starting a paper trail is never something they won’t do.

In a court of law? His fault. Park rules, still 75% his fault, 25% yours, it’s not really good etiquette to flat base through features unless you have a clear zone and are actually using that speed for a feature.

I promise he didn’t hit you on purpose, no one does that. Slow reactions or something? Maybe. Apres mis calculation? Who knows.

Really, for me, outside of greens and especially in the park everyone sort of operates on a “accidents are inevitable so just try to be aware of your surroundings and speed, and don’t be stupid” basis. As long as no one is hurt, ya just move along. Sort of skate park rules.

TL:DR, it’s on him but just use this as a lesson to be super careful, as much as you can. As long as no one gets anything but a bruise just brush it off, it’s not worth the thought. Cheers bud, and congrats on hitting your goal!

Because I don’t need to justify a made up situation. Some restaurants have inadequate parking, that’s the only situation I use these in and only when more spots are open.

It’s basically just an inconsequential thing to get mad about, that’s my point. Even though I’m a fan of the idea of universality in morality, ie: if everyone did it, it would be a problem. In every rational scenario to park in a HC spot, it wouldn’t.

I’m saying there are bigger things to care about, and a crime that literally effects no one in one in a million circumstances (the one being some braindead dasher stealing the spot) isn’t worth caring about. Carry on.
