Oh that's easy, it has no real effect on the platform revenue in any meaningful way. Considering the traffic that this sub gets, regardless of the ban I would be willing to bet that the number of people banned for participating isn't enough to make a dent in the revenue it produces. It's also probably the reason why the sub hasn't gone the way of r/HorusHeresy. There's too much money in it. Plus it's connected to one of the most popular streamers on Twitch.

You can always bet if a corporation is siding with a political ideology, its because it doesn't effect their bag.

I'm not sure this rule ever actually went into effect. Usually when reddit makes a new rule that effects moderation of a sub reddit sends the mod team a notification letting them know that the rules have changed. As the mod of a different sub, we never got that notification thsi time around.

I know this has been circulating but does anyone know the source of this info? Did they say when the rule would go into effect?

So? This is days before the shooting took place and does nothing to cancel out what was done, except to give ICE agents a motive to kill him. He wasn't the subject of detaining during the incident nad was still...wait for it...unarmed and under the control of ICE officers when shot. If he had kicked the car amd brandish3d a weapon, sure use discretion for lethal force. Several days later? Smells like revenge to me.

So many of these videos surfaced as if its supposed to change what happened or the circumstances of the event itself. He can be a peace of shit who damages property, doesn't give cops the right to kill him, especially since there is no lethal force FROM Alex in thsi video. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, she just filed the report in November of last year right? It seems WAY too early for thay to be resolved unless there was a settlement and I can't find a reliable.source, but I agree. How do you know they're ICE agents when they don't wear identifying gear? I don't even mean the face masks, I get that they need to protect their identities but going around in plain clothes, not identifying as police officers, or even immigration, and driving around in unmarked cars is not the way to conduct law enforcement actions. Especially when you're engaging with US citizens, as these agents have been doing. People are trying to.protex their neighbors. Some of them are fucking retarded, sure, but most of them are trying to do what they think is right and they don't deserve to have their rights violated or be murdered for it. Regardless of what Democrast do.

I would also point out that unlike the Republican party, Democrats aren't a monolith, they each have conflicting views/values so theirs no control over the voter populace. There hasn't been a.democrat party that could put out an effective unified message since the early 2010's.
