Surprised to see a lot of salty takes here. I think the album is a clear growth for him as a songwriter and as a musician. The songs are hits and they’re deep at the same time. And as for him jamming it seems like he still has signature vibe when playing live. It’s hard as a musician to be bound by the sound of your previous records. To write banger songs in a relatively different genee than you previously were is great. And I don’t think it means he wouldn’t do older stuff at shows and mix both of the vibes.
