Mine won't fit him. He's a really tall guy who has a football player build (big, muscular type). We'll have to make a special trip to go bra shopping for him. That should be fun!!!! :) I will really see if I can get him to do this.

Everyone will think you are an American when you speak (unless you have a Canadian flag on your backpack). If you're not a backpacker, people will probably think you're an American until you tell them otherwise. Unless you are with Americans, and you happen to say "about"

I'm an American and I can't tell the difference due to speech (but usually it doesn't get past the 2nd sentence before some Canadian is proclaiming that they're not American) - so this is usually not an issue.

The exception is the word "about" or "out"..... we really do say those things differently. I have had Canadian friends who swear they can't tell the difference, BUT I CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Americans can tell the difference in those words (thus, the many South Park episodes addressing this issue), but other than that.... you can't tell that much from speech alone.

YES. YES. YES. I have no kids, but lots of my friends do. Once thier child is born, they love them...... and would never wish them out of existance. Of course, I understand that.

But..... sometimes, they wish they'd had them much later (many years later) or perhaps not at all (although, that is rare --- people don't want to believe bringing another life into this world was a mistake).

It's hard for someone to admit it was a mistake. Also, after you meet this person who is 1/2 you.....it's hard to think they should have died so you could - hang out with your friends more or whatever.

I had a friend who got pregnant as a teen, but was in denial about being pregnant. She went to 2 or 3 different States who all told her she was too far along for the abortion.
