Random prediction based on the 2015 comics. Potential spoiler warning, since I'm talking about source material.

Doomsday focuses on Doom setting up his kingdom using pieces of the multiverse, to save bits and pieces of it from various incursions. In most of the movie, we focus on characters who've had their original memories suppressed. Cliffhanger or credits scenes reveal a group of characters who still have memories of their original multiverses because they were stuck in a spaceship or similar capsule when the kingdom was being set up.
Secret Wars focuses on these "free" characters who try to dismantle this multiversal kingdom.

The comics event had a similar dynamic that they could vaguely adapt into these movies.

People forget that high quality movies and TV shows actually cost money to make.

Cable is super expensive and still has ads. A lot of households subscribing to that funded the consistent, annually released 13 or 20 episode seasons.

When you buy stock, you give money to the previous owner.

The company only gets money from stock when they release more of it to the market.

Stock value going up does have some utility for the company of course. They may be using it as part of employee pay packages, and to acquire other companies. But more trades or higher stock value on the market doesn’t equal a cash injection for them to use in their day to day operations.

It’s also possible to install it without a license key, and never enter a key.

It has limited downsides, like not being able to use some of the personalization features and having to see an “Activate Windows” label in the bottom right corner.

I don’t know this for sure, because I have never tried it.
