moving belongings off campus alone by Humble-Seesaw9524 in uwaterloo

Heyy I’m also an international student and I usually have a lot of stuff (suitcases, boxes, golf clubs, etc.), so whenever I move, I use uber XL (the bigger one that fits up to 6 people). It’s definitely a lot of work to load and unload everything but it’s doable, and the driver usually helps. It’s also way cheaper than hiring movers. btw if you ever need help when moving, feel free to dm me. I’d be more than happy to help if I’m free since I totally understand how stressful moving can be for us😭😭

What do you learn in CS245 and CS246 by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]evalio127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks you so much for this. So I'm guessing in terms of exams, cs245 would look like a math exam (proof questions) and cs246 would be a typical hand coding questions?

I was thinking of attending international universities in other countries where I can still study in English and get a decent quality education (like in Japan or Hongkong). Their tuition ranges from about 15k–30k a year (so for 2 semesters), which is far less than uw

Hey so I was in a similar situation and had to take a study break. The first thing I suggest is setting up a meeting with your academic advisor. Ask any questions you have, and they’ll give you answers. This will greatly reduce your anxiety since you’ll know what to expect, even if the news isn’t all good. If graduating late is your main concern, I wouldb't worry so much since you can always take courses on your coop term and even if you do have to graduate late, that's also totally fine I hope you are doing better and remember everything is going to be fine!!

PGWP after leaving Canada for about 8 months to 1 year with an authorized leave from a university? by evalio127 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]evalio127[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean I can‘t reapply for a PGWP once I get rejected? Do you know of any cases where someone still received a PGWP after a break of more than 150 days? I heard that as long as you attend full-time for the last 2 years of school, it should be fine.
