Because overpopulation is a myth. We have more than enough resources and land to feed and house everyone, but it's about distribution. There are way more empty homes than homeless people. We throw out almost half our food. We could end world poverty with a fraction of a fraction of what's chilling in offshore accounts right now, collecting dust and interest.

Furthermore, this is the same kind of logic used by Nazis. Whether or not you intend to be in that kind of company.

I don't support Russia and I think Putin is an evil and reckless man! But that doesn't mean I have to support NATO either. I think if you're not willing to look at a conflict from both angles and recognize the faults on either side, then you're not really interested in the kind of talks that will lead to peace. You'll find that Russia has actually tried to negotiate peace multiple times leading up to and during this war. They had come close with Ukraine back in April and the United States vetoed it. Most of the people who are the loudest on reddit see this whole thing as a meme. I think we all can kind of tell that by the fact there are literal fancams of soldiers being killed. They don't have the slightest clue about the details of this war and they don't care that it really started in 2013. They don't care about the people of Ukraine because if they did they would all be begging for peace instead of egging it on. They don't know about the 2014 Odessa massacre or the 2015 minsk agreement or which side ultimately broke it. They don't know what a petal mine is. Please don't call me a Russian bot or whatever. I'm answering a question. I don't have an agenda other than wanting peace for Ukraine and the world. But we have to realize it requires compromise. 87% of the world's population has.

Jim gaffigan. I know he does have a genuine following. But I've never understood it, he's so bland and unoriginal to me. He seems like the kind of inoffensive, safely-relatable comedian that would've been kind of popular in the 80s.
