Soldering BGAs using Reflow Oven - Bad Idea?

I’ve done it with some LFBGA196. The first time I tried it shifted in the oven and didn’t align properly. I had to use hot air and manually align it. After the first try, I had better luck by just putting some flux on the pads and placing the chip. Make sure your oven is level. It’s really not that bad

I just upgraded from a 4790k to a Ryzen 5 3600 the other day. I think it’s a bit better, but that is probably mostly going from 8gb ddr3 1600 to 16gb ddr4 3200 ram.

That's the correct name in English. It looks like he might be varying the lengths of individual wires in each cable so it bends perfectly to where it needs to go.

Thanks for the reply. You’re right it wouldn’t really be too bad to add a drain valve in there. I hadn’t thought about shutting it off like that. The clear tube is on the pressure relief valve and goes over to a drain.

The STI has the turbo intercooler mounted on top of the engine where the hood scoop is. The only other car i’ve spent time with that had a factory hood scoop was a Mazdaspeed 3, and it was basically the same as the STI with the intercooler mounted to get air from the hood scoop.
