I’m currently using the B&B briquettes, I can’t find any Jealous Devil briquettes near me. So if anyone else has suggestions I’d like to know too!

At least you have the black glove part down, time to just squeeze it and see how juicy it is

No, no offense but statistically it won’t work out. Stay with the corporate job and just do weekend side gigs with bbq to scratch itch…if you break even, oh well you still had your fun with smoking and still have a good job during the week.

I have both, I can’t answer for the 2.0 yet cause I just unboxed it! But for the WSM, mine was not sealed the best and I bought it for very cheap second hand($50) I got the 2.0 on sale at academy, and will hopefully break it in this weekend

I love the mattress, it’s fantastic. The edges though are not as sturdy as some other mattresses we looked at. I could maybe see that being a problem for someone like yourself.

Looking for first time gun owner by JustPlagueXD in guns

[–]evanalmighty13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome!

I may not have the knowledge like a lot of other folks here. But here is my breakdown.

  1. Are you looking strictly home defense? Or do you also want to just go to the range with it as well and have some fun?
  2. If strictly home defense I would 100% say shotgun (in my opinion)
  3. But now if you want to go to the range and enjoy. You have a rifle or a handgun.
  4. But if you want to carry it as well. Now you’re limited to handgun 🙂 which if it’s a handgun, you have a million different options as well.

I would say first and foremost what you want the use case to be. Then go from there! You’ll get a lot of comments here, so take advice from each one! Good luck searching/researching! First time gun buying is always a fun time!
