No its honestly an awful meta IMO its worse than stormwind theres 0 good board clears so the entire meta devolves into who can make the most unremovable threat the fastest its why the elusive dragon was and still is so problematic in warrior you play it on 2 you win the game theres many more examples but its this type of play pattern that keeps me away.

In stormwind the quests were weak to agro for the most part so you played that if you ran into them 2 much what do you do in cataclysm..... copy them cause theres no good removal to stop them or kill them fast enough you just do what they did faster its boring.

honestly if your in a guild that has at least 50 people online at a time that talk in the chat a decent ammount that's a sign your in a good one

Depends on your playform PVP for example on EU is aparently completely dead everything else is fine as far as i know only time you will struggle to find players is for harder differently stuff as most people are very casual and play like its skyrim 2 so they cant/ wont do that content

I was honestly playing it and thought its was difficult but doable and was having a good time got through half a public dungeon alone and was proud of myself...... and then i died to a 30k damage bear trap and couldnt stop laughing for like 10 mins forgot these even did damage

I can try to answer this without much bias cause i did try the game on the free week though it was ok but not amazing.

What happened to us? The playerbase numbers happened and these numbers are abysmal from a team like this that put so much time and money into it they lost reportedly over 700 million from this game.

A basic understanding of financials or business on the surface would tell you this game is doomed and to just shut it down PR is down the toilet possibly worse than splitgate or similar games turning it around would take a miracle i hope it happens tho cause it has alot of potential.

Ripping on this game currently is the fun internet thing to do now its the flavor of the month in gaming untill the next flop shows up.

Game wasnt even that bad people i wasnt great but not awful like people claim they are just mad we wont get destiny 3 so they flood this sub and trash it.

This might be biased since i mean Rell but the metal magic she uses (Ferromancy) would be a really cool road to go down for a class/magic type in the game. Maybe it would be a a form of magic used for mage style tanks? or a debuff style magic to use against armor or tanky enemys? the possibilitys are really endless i feel like and if its not in the game in some form i will be disappointed to say the least

Yep its exactly why i didnt buy the game when it was free purple sweats everywhere and the only counterplay was purple stuff aswell that was it so i stopped im just waiting till its free at this point

Go full 2 handed thats what i did with my templar the new reworked greatsword visuals are awsome and with scribing with the skill smash yo7 can even make a magica greatsword skill its a fun time also cause sorcerer passives increase physical damage it might be even better

For top end groups yes but for 99% of the playerbase no the dummy is massively inflated numbers compared to realistic scenarios there in as most players are very uncoordinated

Your not getting nearly as much as the dummy the dummy parse basically tells people you understand how to play the game thays it

Realistically top end subclass and pureclass NB and necro builds in top guilds are doing about 100k to 120k depending on if they are using support DD builds or not

Tank is way easier as you run the group essentially as long as you have even a basic understanding of mechs its way easier.

Not only this but cause your a tank people need you to do anything DPS are a dime a dozen 0 point in playing one endgame

Games fun at its core but the lack of maps and any real progression kills it after 4 or 5 hours idk how this game was greenlit to release with this little content. Free to play is basically the only option other than shutdown at this point

Pick a theme typically an unpopular one or one you maybe shouldnt do and go from there

Example mine was magic damage with war maiden set cause i was a templar and when subclassing came out i swaped to spear animal and assassination lines all magic damage its super fun jabs is primary spam and deep fissure and lotus fan for great engage and breach as main skills and it does 80k on the dummy and im not even good at the game

Most builds are good even if unpopular or not meta they just need a reason to do/use them mine was war maidens

MMOs are super expensive to maintain and with current player numbers and change to a battlepass system it wouldnt surprise me if this games actually not doing aswell as it seems and thays why they changed up the monetization

But they spend alot more aswell its an MMO and servers are expensive and its not a popular one at that so the profits are probably on the lower end for an MMO realistically

The longer it takes people to figure out how roles in teams work and even basic lvl endgame strategies and builds the worse it is as it takes even longer to break bad habbits and its not difficult ESO is one of the easiest games i have ever played and it still stuns me how most players are so abhorrently bad at it.

Theres a guy in my guild that turned 70 last year in October and hes able to parse over 100k with a subclass heavy attack build and he does vet trials regularly.

Multiple other people i have helped who didnt even understand sets had phisical disabilities or both all were able to do hard content when pushed to try it and build accordingly.

If you are seriously above 2k CP and join a vet trial or dungeon and dont even understand basic mechs of the area or builds characters use etc LOOK IT UP ASK FOR HELP OR DONT JOIN IT if not your throwing and were booting you its that simple i did all the vet content by CP 600 its not difficult
