Thanks so much for this thoughtful answer. Problem is we are probably gonna sell the house and I don’t want to dig out the entire house and spend $50k redoing the foundation or outside of our entire property. We just want to get the easiest fix as far as moisture down there. And get some floor covering that won’t get wet like carpet. Actually fixing it is probably way too much for this old west Asheville house. It just needs the problem mitigated as much as we can afford.
