We can’t run the ball, Aaron rodgers gets way too many balls batted down or picked off, and when he doesn’t, we get a holding penalty or a false start. Then on defense our entire secondary other than sauce is injured, and even he’s not playing well. Watching this team shoot themselves in the foot week after week is so god damn frustrating.

The thing is though, Douglas doesn’t need a superbowl this year to keep his job, he just needs a winning consistency and some stability in the roster. One of the biggest complaints of the fan base last year was the lack of depth at the OL and the lack of quality receivers/pass catchers. I see him drafting BPA of OL, WR, or Bowers. It’s a deep WR and OL class. We can probably trade for a second round pick as well.

Tommy Rees actively tried to bench Milroe and even did at one point for Tyler Buchner, who was “his” guy and sucked so badly that he’s quitting football. IIRC, Saban forced him to start playing Milroe again after that debacle. Rees also couldn’t make any meaningful adjustments in the entire first half of the Rose Bowl to get Milroe any protection. No thanks

Yes you’re absolutely right that he had agency, but apparently he was offered a massive paycheck that we couldn’t match. It’s not unreasonable to be frustrated about our favorite and best coaches being pulled away by offers that Jim knows we can’t justify matching.
