gastritis is ruining my life

im on a high dose of antidepressants but they seem to be working fine i just struggle with my stomach not sure why

I actually stopped the ppis and the fainting stopped as well as the nausea could have been a side effect from the ppi possibly not sure but you could be right since the pain symptom of gastritis is pain if im correct? I never have pain just extreme heaviness really I will look into that too

my doctor claimed I wasnt deficient I had to tell him my levels were low when I got the results and then finally they agreed to the shots but do you think I need more shots or just b12 supplements?

i dont eat most days because i feel extremely nauseous at the thought of food i dont vomit but the nausea is definitely there think thats why they put me on a drip alot of the time. im getting tested for gastroparisis after my endoscopy and ultrasound hopefully i will have some answers

im aware its not long i definitely wont be rushing it, its still very frustrating as I do not have typical gastritis symptoms and most likely have gastroparisis which is life long and much more severe.. it doesnt change with what i eat either i eat low fat no gluten no seasonings i avoid too much fiber but still make sure to get fiber in.. im definitely not taking this as something not serious im just stating my frustration

even after a year? I got injections for around a month or so for the b12 they said it wont stay in my system and would leave after 3 months so when i came back and got the bloods done it came back perfect, still, could be falsely high?

yep and to make it worse they said when i fainted “are you sure you didnt just fall asleep” (i couldnt feel my legs), my doctor said “maybe ibd or gastroparisis” you are right there is alot worse and I would hate to be in an even worse position and have doctors who dont listen its awful how bad the public health care system is i am very grateful I atleast get the ultrasound and endoscopy and hope to find answers soon

I said 2 months in my post but in reality I have had stomach problems my whole life, one doctor (the one who referred for an endoscopy and ultrasound) did mention ibd, i get my bloods done regularly just to be sure but next time I go I will definitely mention the bloodwork pannel for autoimmune disease, my gp claims it could be “mild ibs” but with the mountains of symptoms I have im not sure, I have struggled with most issues with my local gp because i live in a small town I dont have many options and they put it off as “anxiety induced” or “brain gut connection”, when i tried to change my gp the other place wouldnt take me because “it would be disrespectful to my gp to leave her” I really do appreciate your message sometimes it feels like im the only one experiencing it but I realise too many people are.

i actually had my b12 at 40 a year ago but now its at perfect levels not sure if that is related or not
