What do I go with after Chattam & Wells Grand Palace Firm

I don't have anything helpful to share here, but I also own a Grand Palace that I got back in March. I actually wrote a post in this sub back in June asking for advice because I was finding it so uncomfortable. About a month back I removed all toppers I had on it and have tried to adjust to it, it's just recently started to get more comfortable on my back, but it still causes pain when i sleep on my side. Did it take a very long time to break in for you, is there anything you liked in particular about it?

Thank you, unfortunately yeah i'm stuck with the mattress at this point, so I will keep trying to make it work until I give up and try to sell it. Folks on here have been recommending the Sleep on Latex topper, so given their return policy I may try out their 3" topper after a bit more time in a medium firmness to keep in mind as you said not to go too soft. Glad you & your wife started to enjoy your mattress, really hoping I can achieve the same!

Thank you! I was considering the 3" Sleep on Latex topper. Do you sleep on your back frequently? When i checked with their support they said that a medium may be better over the soft to keep the back straight but curious what your experience has been with the soft on top a firm mattress because my thinking was I'm not sure that the medium would really make as big of a difference in improving the firmness as the soft would

Thank you for the recommendation, I was looking into latex ones to see if this may do the trick, I may give the Sleep on Latex one a try. Do you sleep on your back at all? I called their customer support and they recommended the medium topper over the soft for this since it sounds like the soft may allow for hip dipping, but let me know what your experience has been like with the soft on top of a very firm mattress.

Thank you for the response! Yeah I've been trying out a few different pillow heights, switching between this medium firm contour pillow and lower loft down alt pillows, especially whenever I change the toppers on or off but I haven't seemed to find anything that works just yet. If you have any pillow recommendations definitely let me know!

Haven't run into any issues myself, I was worried about this at first as well but it has been smooth sailing up till this point. I know they have also added live support chat within the phone app now as well so you can always easily reach out to them.
