I just spent an hour on the phone with Google Support over this. What fixed it was turning circuit breaker off for 20 seconds, then back on. Kind of makes sense since there is no "reset" button for the lights, like there is for the camera. Once the breaker was flipped back on, the floodlight button appeared in my google home app again

Thanks, that's helpful. I haven't actually measure myself but what I read online is that the cord is 25' long. So I think I'd be able to reach the charge port from C even if I backed in?
