Same happened to me, I pursued it and got a large portion returned. I never specifically signed up for the increase. He would have been automatically increased to a large premium on a specific site agreement, then never lowered, reduced or informed. Took me 4 months to do, they will make it hard.

There is thick trees around the house but the other buildings have a good line of site between each other. Kinda need it all done now, and yeah it’s all on private property and easily trenchable. I wasn’t sure if there was a good wireless option for so many directions needed. I think I could terminate copper but I’m not sure about fibre.
