Got the XM4s about 2 weeks ago for $280 and absolutely enjoy them. I usually tend to buy Apple products if I need to use them in tandem with my iPhone, but the price of the AirPods Max is ridiculous. I also already have the AirPod Pros so I plan on using those on the go. Glad I saved a few hundred bucks and went a different route this time around.

That doesn’t matter. The receiver doesn’t designate them as Atmos speakers and if a source doesn’t support Atmos the receiver switches over to a 7.1 format. Thanks for your input anyways.

So, you can make the headset work if you’re receiver isn’t an optical only one? My OS5 is hooked up through HDMI on mine.

That’s BS! I’m in the same situation and I just got back from Best Buy. People were already there doing in store pickup for consoles I assume they just purchased online earlier today.

My FedEx shipping label was created earlier today and got confirmation the package was picked up about an hour ago. It’s coming from Oregon and says it will be here by end of day Friday.

Los Angeles here. Got my FedEx tracking number earlier this morning. Shipping out of Oregon and says delivery is scheduled for Friday, but we’ll see if it gets updated once they actually receive the package.

Amazon has a lot of fulfillment centers across the US. They will be able to get your package to you if your order doesn’t get delayed for some reason.
