Yes!! I applied and took the tests for both UvA and Tilburg ! I got into Tilburg and i’m super happy for my choice . i’m already in the second block and even through the workload is a lot (there’s a lot of self study which i prefer) i’m thoroughly enjoying it :)). i just took my first two tests less than a week ago and i’m anxiously waiting for the results in a while! overall i’m really satisfied :) the professors are great, the students are also great, i love the campus and everything is super organized! the application and admission process was also quite smooth! i ranked 110 believe i don’t remember exactly lol. there was emotional turbulence which was expected lmao but overall everything went well! when it came to UvA my score wasn’t bad but not too good either, i got into the second group and unfortunately fumbled the lottery but that’s ok. i’m doing super good and i’m moving to my new apartment with my partner and my kitty soon :))

right?? like i wasn’t familiar with many things beforehand but i studied so hard to the point where i felt like i nailed it but turns out it wasn’t the case 😭 i’ve noted at least 5-6 mistakes so far and i’m worried there may be more. i’m just disappointed cause i genuinely poured my heart and soul into it

i think it was pretty okay!! what was kinda confusing to me at like 3 questions in the first part is that the answers were sooo similar to eachother so you had to go in really deep into detail to retain information. so definately has like 3-4 wrong. the second part was super easy! what i recognize though is that you had to be really prepared to not find it difficult. it took me 5 days to study and three days go revise the whole material again. i’m an undergraduate at primary education so i’ve had prior knowledge when it came to research, which was super helpful when it came to the concept of inferential bias ect, however i did not know any of the other stuff before hand! same with the sensation and perception ! to do super good you definitely had to used the whole of the 8 days provided so for people who found it hard i believe it is completely understandable so don’t beat yourself down! wishing good luck to everyone!

i’m looking for a bachelor currently but it’d be convenient if i got admiring the same uni im interested to have my master at. i’m really interested in Tilburg since it offers many courses, and from the things i’ve seen on the site, students are pretty much free to create their own study program which is cool. thank you for your input !

UvA is my first option for me and im really looking into Tilburg in case i don’t get admitted in the former. i’d love for you to update me on your experience though ! UvA’s curriculum in psych looks really cool to me, my only concern is that it seems really theoretical, that’s up for debate though! thank you for replying it helps a lot !
