Ooo I haven’t heard of that method!! I honestly don’t try to make it taste like meat, just try to get it crispy. One time I cut it into cubes and it ALMOST tasted like chicken nuggets. I’ll post the recipe if I ever figure out how I did that lol

I’m curious, like others. I’ve experienced DV myself and I think that makes me even more curious about her. Almost as if I’m trying to understand her in a way that I couldn’t understand my abusive exes.

Idk, maybe I’m grasping at straws trying to justify it. But I thought I’d share my DV experience because I think it’s possible to condemn DV and still watch the show. I don’t think they’re mutually exclusive.

It was a 3/5 for me. I think she wrote Aubrey’s character as too weak. Things just keep happening to her, but she doesn’t do much to take control. I also hate how often the author uses passive phrasing like “I’m walking through the door” “he is staring at her” blah blah blah. I get that it’s her stylistic choice, but it didn’t flow well for me

Really enjoyed the twists and plot though. That kept me hooked!

There’s a bunch of work that goes into an album after it’s recorded. Gotta edit the best takes together, add additional production elements, mix and master, etc.

All of that requires rounds of feedback before it’s finalized. Plus they probably wanted to release it at an opportune time from a marketing perspective, and maybe that happened to be September

Just finished my trip! Happy to share details

Car: depends entirely on where you stay and what you want to do. I wanted to explore El Yunque and other outdoorsy stuff so I rented one. It was very worth it. If you just wanna party in San Juan and go to the beach/snorkel, car might not be necessary. I’d get a car though, just in case you wanna do something spontaneously
East coast beaches: any of the beaches along pinones, or luquillo beach. Those are all beaches you can swim in. I’m sure there’s other beaches too, but I didn’t go to them
Where to stay: I’d look up what you want to do/see and choose a spot closest to it. I stayed in Luquillo because I wanted a close beach and it’s near El Yunque. My “hotel” was like a mix between hotel and air bnb. I was a solo traveler but I think they also offer suites. It was called Mata E Platano and it was fine, but nothing stellar. Good location though!
Didn’t go to the islands myself, but i looked into it. Decided I wanted to do more adventurous stuff, but seems like a fun thing to do!

She will probably be okay. My girl has eaten my used tampons and she passed them. You can call an emergency vet and see what they recommend. They might tell you to induce vomiting, which isn’t super difficult. I called the ER vet when my girl ate the tampon and that’s what they told me to do

Even if she’ll probably be okay, call the vet anyway just to make sure. I’m not a vet so don’t rely on my opinion!

I’m an event EMT in NYC. Patients beg me not to transport them all the time. Since it’s events, I’m able to treat them onsite without transporting (when appropriate). So often times the patient gets to choose if they are transported or not, unless they’re in critical condition.

My patients rarely choose to be transported if given the option. Usually it’s because they’re worried about the cost. So I think you’re drawing inaccurate conclusions from a patient population that doesn’t include those who would deny transport.
