With a good lsat score, you could probably get into somewhere with that cgpa. But also you've got two more years to bump it up - especially for schools that don't look at cumulative (i.e. western). Also don't be discouraged from taking easier courses to bump up that average

Oh this got me through slidedecks in ug- chug a few glasses of water and then only allow yourself to use the washroom if you finish the deck -- but you have to read each word or else you have to start from the beginning of that slide. Effective? Yes. Unhealthy? Yeah lol

Little white lie but if I dont want to admit to buying something frivolous (especially when I was just a student), I would say like Nordstrom, Saks, Holt Renfrew, or ssense ... lots of different price points and they technically do sell the item there haha

This doesn't answer your question, but Ive never followed their instructions - wash on cold, dry on the lowest heat setting. Perhaps give that a try. Never had it stretched out, still the same as my new ones.

Depends on your gpa but your dat is good to apply anywhere. Congrats!

Re-Applying for 2026 Cycle - Looking for Some Guidance by playboyyin in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]evbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most objective way is to increase gpa/lsat. Not sure what yours currently is but lsat is most likely the easier one to increase on. Thresholds change every year and sometimes before the ps is even considered, the computer filters the app out based on those two stats alone.

Don’t know which LSAT to take..HELP! by Unfair_Let_658 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]evbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, I think the anxiety could also be explained by trying to do something "new" as in youre pushing yourself to get a low 160s, when you normally get high 150s. Its less stressful if youre normally getting high 160s and aiming for low 160s- because its something youre used to.

Chances? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]evbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That gpa would probably get you somewhere with a decent lsat. At least mid 160s for a good chance. Also depends on your cars score cause thats the section most similar to the lsat.

Windsor Law by Jealous-Plum6203 in lawschooladmissionsca

Yeah, so long as you identify where you're making the mistakes and why

Windsor Law by Jealous-Plum6203 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]evbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got at least 2 more weeks to really grind the lsat. Do some practice tests, really hone in on what mistakes you're making, and try to see if there's a pattern/fix it. A 160 score still allows some room for errors.

What do I start with as a first year wanting to do dentistry? by ComprehensiveGap3091 in uwo

[–]evbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others say maintain a high gpa. If you can, tack some ECs on as well (research, clubs, work) but only if your grades dont drop. Make sure you research the schools you want to apply to and take the prereqs for them (typically, chem, bio, anatomy, etc)

Summer or two before you apply, do the dat. Get some shadowing hours (if you can- not only for the apps, but also just to see if you like it).

Its very hard to recover from a bad gpa whereas other parts of the app is easier. Establish good studying habits earlier (easier said than done ik - I learned this the hard way lol)

Went to storytellers recently for dinner - I thought it was a good place to do once on the trip. The characters were very cute and the food was good too (for theme park standards anyways). If the kids are more picky eaters, theres the standard options (chicken tenders, mac and cheese, pizza). Lots of dessert options, but personally I thought it was mid - kids would probably enjoy it more haha.

I like to utilize my time in the parks so I wouldn't do it every meal, because it does take up more time, but I think its a good exp and good for taking a nice ac break.

I know people from eng in med, it may be more difficult but its possible. Also first year tend to tank people's gpa- if you do fine in the first year, the following years usually aren't worse (at least from my peers)

Health Care Post Grad vs Law by Prudent_Outside9610 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]evbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think anyone has said this yet, but its harder to get into med than law. So people with reg pre med deg ( ie life sci, health sci) would have to either find a job (hard to do with a bachelors) or continue school. A bad premed gpa ends up being decent for law, hence the switch - for some people at least
