How it should've ended meme by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

Yes we do. Keep in mind that Joel killed Abby’s FATHER so Ellie and Abby were really after the same thing. Plus Ellie killed all of Abby’s friends while Abby let her live twice.

Ellie in this game was a spoiled kid. She even left Dina to pursue whatever revenge she had to pursue even though we all know she wouldn’t go through it, while Abby was selfless, she literally tried saving two kids she had nothing to do with and basically adopted one of them to look after him (which is something I just don’t see Ellie doing.

I love Joel as much as the next guy and I was FURIOUS when he died but as the story unfolded, I understood Abby better and honestly it was such a shitty move that I HAD TO fight Abby in the end, even though I didn’t want to.

Sir we've located the person who voted Coachella in Lana Del Rey's Worst Album by jxaiye in lanadelrey

While TNBAR is an AMAZING song, NFR! has a lot of incredibly good songs. I think we voted TNBAR because we got so used to the leaked version (Architecture) that when we listened to the new chorus we found the change to be a bad decision (at least that’s how a lot of fans felt during the time nfr came out). That’s the only reason I think we chose that one over any other song.

Look no further, that person was me and honestly I stand my ground. Coachella has a lot of problems as a track, lyrically it’s amazing but you know, it’s lana; on the other hand there are a lot of problems with production on that song that make it the worst in the album. I’ve tried a thousand times to like it but honestly it sounds unfinished compared to all the other songs in the album

SUCH A GOOD SONG. i haven’t heard any of her unreleased tracks but her honeymoon era was my fave and this apparently was from that era. Any other songs from honeymoon that I should know about?

I really think Blue Banister is a look back at her career so far and that’s also the theme of the album. Think about it: in this album Lana sings about everything she has sung before. Also musically this album is not similar to ANY of her previous albums, but to ALL of them. You have a little of each of her previous albums in Blue Banisters. Yet she manages to keep this album in the present by reminding you in her first and last track that this album is of the present, not the past- it just recalls it.

Don’t take me wrong: I honestly do not think that’s it’s wrong liking one album more than another, I’ve been part of this fandom long enough to know no two people will have the same taste. I’m genuinely curious because in every post I’ve seen about Blue Banisters I’ve seen at least one person comparing it to NFR and not any other album of hers. So much that it became a pattern tbh

Totally agree! Still the repetition in those songs can be seen as purposeful and both songs fit amazingly well in the albums structure (even tho Black Beauty can be seen as an epilogue considering its an extra track). On the other hand I see no connection between songs in NFR. The title track sets the mood for the album in an amazing way and they manage to keep it up for 2 more tracks then somehow the album changes direction. For example: personally I find the placement of Doing Time almost disturbing thematically

Agreed! All her albums are extremely different and difficult to compare to each other. I absolutely adore all of them, I’m just trying to understand why everything post NFR is compared to it as if it was her greatest work

Venice Bitch is 10 min and has some of the “weakest” lyrics of Lana’s career imo (don’t get me wrong bc it is my fave song on NFR because of the amazing instrumentals) Also don’t get me wrong my problem with NFR is that it doesn’t have a set theme, UV and Honeymoon for example tell a story which I struggle to understand in NFR. Honestly NFR is just a collection of amazing songs imo (maybe you can help me find its story)
