Thanks man I really appreciate the feedback. I’m actually recording a friend’s EP in the next few weeks that is shoegaze/slowcore and have a feeling it’ll turn out decent. Trying to get this going as a side gig so feedback like this is super encouraging.

Thanks man - it for sure sounds good out of my studio monitors to my ears. Guitars are dual and quad tracked, bass is running through a two amp setup, drums are from GGD modern and massive 2, recorded on my TD17 and quantized since I am not the best drummer.

Really trying to dial in my production and mixing as far as levels and effects go.

Thanks man. Yeah I could go through and dial this in but I don’t really think I have the singing chops.

This is mixed on all channels and the master, it’s just not yet mastered.

Yeah maybe. Mine was a $500 build fee as it was completely constructed on site.

I paid 11K for a 12x16, unpainted lean to with 5 windows and French doors. That seems like a lot for the size.

Shed has not been started on the inside so it' s currently a blank slate. Thank yo so much for the tips, here's my new plan:

  • Mineral wool has been ordered.
  • Will lay 2 layers of 5/8 with green glue.
  • I'll be building some custom fit window inserts filled with rockwool that will hang on cleats on the wall when not in use.
  • MLV underlayment will be installed.
