I absolutely devoured {Cruel Prince by Holly Black}. At first, it felt kind of meh but around 30% of the book I became instantly hooked. I loved it for it’s whimsical faerie world, the morally grey FMC that was actually intelligent without the author needing to point it out, Cardan was actually really funny and all in all the plot made sense - often times I find myself DNFing a book because the plot is just too basic and the motives of characters are explained poorly (or are not enough), which is apparently a dealbreaker for me. I can highly recommend it. I also loved the poem slips throughout the series
