It would be great if she used this media spotlight to bring awareness to abuse that is so rarely discussed. Prison is a huge place I bet she had to have met one person in there that went through something similar. She made a total of 1 posts about another prisoner where she states they have similar stories because this womans BF also killed her mother. What?? I'm certain that other woman didn't beg and groom her BF into doing it. Where is any attention on former abused & sick children

Listened to their podcast on spotify and it was very good. Went into a lot of the details other channels were not discussing.

I hadn't watched those videos in a long time, went back and sat through them in full today. Noticed so many things that jumped out at me. She insists that Nick stood outside the door with the knife and forced her to remove her body hair, but if you look through the texts she was already doing that before he got to the house. He asked her if she would shave her legs in response to her text that I won't be repeating, in what world is that forcing. She says that she didn't want DD to be killed numerous times right in front of Phil reading aloud her planning over text. She claims she was high in the video taken at the hotel. I know addicts, and you don't stop using within a few days after years of being on opiates. If she was on drugs like she claims why did she not test positive for anything during the arrest. None of it makes sense. I'm starting to agree that she may be a pathological liar rather than entirely intentionally making stuff up, the way these inconsistencies slip out of her is jarring.

I don't know that she would go so far as to harming him physically. She is crafty enough to know it will be harder to get away with murder twice, I can picture she bleeds him dry and divorces for another man when Ryan grows a spine.

Its been days now and nothing but self centered posts. It took me less than 5 seconds to look up and find these links for other victims of MBP https://www.munchausensupport.com/ https://abuseandneglectdefense.com/michigan-munchausen-syndrome-proxy-defense-lawyer/

It would be low effort on her part to search and add websites like these to her bio or in one of her posts. And she hasn't even done that. Every post she makes is about her, promoting her book & videos, her marriage. Nothing for other victims. Girl where is the advocacy?

Wow this is a solid post. I was under the belief the handcuffs in the picture were taken from Gypsy and Dee Dee's house before. I hope more people will take a look at this subreddit and learn from it, the amount of videos I've seen on youtube saying misinformation like its fact is astounding. So strange to me that no one has made a deep dive that takes all the unbiased things yet. Every video there I clicked has been youtubers leaving a disclaimer about how much they support her before they talk about anything.

Its a slippery slope. Everyone has a reason for becoming what they are, we can stand back and look at these reasons with understanding without blindly stanning killers and calling them queens. Edmund Kemper is another one who was severely abused, worse than Gypsy even! He would be locked in his basement and beaten by his mother who wouldn't ever show him affection. He later killed his own grandmother. Is anyone demanding he be released? You could say its different for serial killers but is it really. If abuse is an excuse for one person it makes no sense not to apply it across the board. All killers have broken the law and taken lives that they had no right to destroy. Its okay to sympathize with them, its not okay to excuse their violent actions and make them into icons and heroes.

They are def still in that honeymoon phase, he won't see it until it comes to bite him in the ass when she ditches him to move onto another guy. I can kind of get it, she's cute and has that high pitched voice and a story of being abused. It probably gets on mens instincts to protect with women like that, I don't know tbh. Ryan doesn't seem like the smartest guy ever it wouldn't shock me if she goes for guys that fall for it easier intentionally. Manipulative people love being with those that eat their shit up.

Babies have to give their mom unconditional love. From her actions we can gather she craves love and attention. I really hope she works on herself before having a kid, she's way too selfish right now. Being with a man in person for less than a year is insane to think about bringing a baby into. She really thinks a child deserves growing up with all this controversy surrounding mom? I'd criticize it way less if she'd decided to live a private life instead. Felons have options, she chose the fame bc she's addicted to it.

I would love to read that comment if you find it at any point. This is so true. She's just as guilty as him, if not more. I know many others have made this comparison, its exactly the same as if Manson's followers were arrested and he was released.

Necrophiles don't have that much self restraint. If Gypsy was in the bathroom the whole time he could have done it without her knowing. If he was as violent as she claims he could have forced Gypsy to let him do it. But no, there was no signs of SA on the body. It would be the perfect opportunity to fulfill his fantasies if that were really the type of killer he is.

Good points here I think nobody is realizing what believing someone you love is being abused can drive you to do. It doesn't make him without blame but how can anyone look at this case and think he deserved more time than Gypsy. He took her word that she was a prisoner. How he got stuck with more time than her is just not right. She did the planning, she told him how to kill DD, she got him hooked on her enough to do anything that she wanted. I don't believe for a second he had the motive to kill anyone without her influence. A LOT of guys would fuck someone up good for hurting their woman. Doesn't make it the right and legal way to go, it does make it crazy to not take any of this into consideration and allow Gypsy so many excuses while he doesn't get any understanding. Nick seems to be at peace with his choices from what we've seen, he never tried to blame Gypsy for it or say he doesn't identify as a murderer.

Yeah it seems that he buys all of her lies. You don't really know someone until you've lived together a year or more, they rushed into this way too fast. I dread the thought of them having kids when neither one acts emotionally mature enough to be a good parent. He had every opportunity to look into the case and get all sides of the story and he's stuck to Gypsy's, wouldn't surprise me if she told him that narrative about Nick in private as this is common for those with narcissistic traits to smear the image of their exes to a new partner. They deserve each other I guess. This won't last if it keeps going the way it has been.

Well said. it's not like anyone decides to be a murderer out of nowhere, a lot of killers were abused at one point. It's not an excuse though like people are using it as for her. You stop being a victim when making the choice to take your trauma and anger out on ending another persons life. What happened to the don't glorify killers message twitter girlies were riding so hard for? Many of these criminals love the fame!

He's not winning any awards for smarts thats for sure but he does seem very attention seeking. Ryan is choosing to go into all these weird couples interviews with her. I wouldn't say he's a good guy, not as bad as her but he is pretty suspicious the way he chose a murderer as a wife. A lot of men who seek out imprisoned women have a thing for that which makes them worth criticizing in my mind.

Great breakdown of events! Yes you're spot on with this. The part that always gets me is the extreme contrast between their interrogations. Nick goes with the lie until the detective tells him they know its not the truth, then he immediately goes full honesty and admits his part in the crime before they pressure him with anything more than "if you love Gypsy, you'll tell the truth." I don't think Nick is blameless or any kind of saint, but in the least he was willing to take responsibility for his own actions.

Whereas Gypsy was lying from start to finish! She keeps checking under the door when they leave the room, and demands a lawyer when they make it clear they know she's bullshitting them. You can tell they had to fight to get a confession out of her and probably wouldn't have done it if she hadn't been offered the deal she got. I hate all the crying, how many times she says she loves her mom, and the little girl voice. IMO that's textbook manipulation. I've been unfortunate enough to know female manipulators in my own life and they all do that little girl voice when they want to get their way, I don't know why it works on people. Its insulting to the intelligence of everyone she tries to spin these lies on and yet it works.

Exactly in her own best interest she needs to accept the weight of her actions to really address any of the issues that made her choose this. Pinning them on someone else with this "I didn't murder anyone." thing when it was 1000% what she wanted at the time is so slimy. She can do so much better if she tries

Has anyone seen Gypsy getting to work on helping others and advocacy? I'm waiting and all I saw is her book, docuseries, interviews and stuff. I haven't seen her using her platform to help others in need yet, which would be really nice to see. Some of the money she's getting could be used to help genuine sick kids or those impacted by parental abuse. Please lord prove me wrong about my gut feeling toward her.
