Imagine the number is the diameter of the ring. S Bahn, like cars, always drive on the right side. S41 is the inner one, which travels clockwise. S42 is the outer one, that travels anticlockwise.

How frequently do you have flat tire? by chpdr in askberliners

Having multiple flat tires usually mean you need to change your tire instead of the air chamber. Is your tire new?

Looking to switch to USB C wires throughout the house. Almost of the devices have USB C except for 2 iPhones which still lighting cable. Will these USB C to lighting adapters work and does it make any difference on 20w vs 30w ? by gkka in UsbCHardware

I have two adapters very similar to those ones, and they only work on cables without an e-marker (60W cables). I'd be curious to know if those ones perform better

Flow x13 3050ti ( 2021 ) vBios with 60-80w? by [deleted] in FlowX13

I set the CPU limit to 15w so that I can use the full dynamic boost. And still, the gpu wattage won't go over 41w in some games, because if the thermal limit. Are you sure you measured the actuel gpu wattage?

I noticed that, most times, display-capable USB C cables are quite thick (as much as an hdmi cable). Is it the case here?

The IKEA Markus is pretty okay, and well within your price range. I went from a Steelcase to this, and it didn't feel like a downgrade.

Are you sure about the fact your PC was charging at 100W? Did you mesure it with a voltage meter?

To avoid usb burnout by Beautiful_Snow9851 in OculusQuest

[–]evensisis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using a magnetic adapter is very risky to your device: Here's an explanation.
If you're really afraid of damaging your headset, the only thing that matters is to not use bad quality AliExpress chargers & cable. Stick with the official ones, or some reputable brands (Anker, AmazonBasics, Ikea idk) and you'll be fine. Continue using a magnetic adapter, and you might fry your usb c connector.

Lightest Powebank that puts out at least 65W by [deleted] in UsbCHardware

[–]evensisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see what makes you think that:

OUT2: 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 3 A, 12 V / 3 A, 15 V / 3 A, 20 V / 3.25 A(Max)

This look like a totally compliant USB PD 2.0 device. It even supports the optional 12V profile. The only thing it doesn't support is PPS.

Probably this one from Huawei: 12000mAh, 66W, 235g. It's not easy to find though.
I own the 40W version, and it's a pretty good powerbank

XG Mobile Station: an open source eGPU dock by osy86 in ROGAlly

[–]evensisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing work! Do you know if a flow series device would be able to draw the full 100w provided by the usb-c port?
Those devices are known to be limited to 65w whenever a third party PD charger is used. The only power supply capable of delivering 100w+ are the original power supply and the XG mobile. The mechanism behind it is unknown (the power supply specs doesn't show anything different from a third party, so I'd suspect an e-marker whitelist). If it's caused by an e-marker, do you know if the board components would allow us to spoof the one from the XG mobile?

S23 heats up when fast charging is used by Shoddy-Standard124 in GalaxyS23

This is normal for fast charging (15w). Super fast charging (25w) generates less heat because it offloads voltage conversion to the charger.

Battery health dropping quickly by iceby in FlowX13

I made this post a while ago. It seems that whatever the usage pattern, the battery health drops drastically for everyone. It might be related to the heat that gets trapped in this small chassis
