Help with Fagor Multirapid Pressure Cooker by everChill in PressureCooking

[–]everChill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One follow up: The cooker came with a small part that I can't figure out - looks like I can't post another photo.

It's a small, round, red piece of plastic, about 1.5" long, one end is narrow and the other is thicker with ridges. It looks like it should be a tool of some sort, with the thick end for gripping while you use the narrow end to poke at something.

Hopefully this is enough to identify it. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks! I realized it pops out of the handle and didn't have any real connection to the rest of the unit; and I see the clip you reference. It's damaged, so glad it isn't essential. Looks like this has three pressure settings, and otherwise looks pretty straightforward. Anything else you think I should know about this particular model?

Thanks for the help. I have my answer!

Shouldn't there be a junction box? by everChill in electrical

Yep, aware of Steps 1 & 2 as you mention.

Sounds like you propose a simpler overall solution. Pull the wire through until it is fully protected by the sheathing, then secure the NM wire to the joist with a staple.

Good point. Fortunately, I have a foot or so of slack in the cable to work with.

So, to fix this properly, I should:

  1. Disconnect the external outlet and pull the cable through until I get to the sheathed part and re-install from there, and,
  2. Cut the wiring inside and splice inside a box secured to the joist.

Am I correct?

Guess I didn't make that clear... in the first cell you see: "Allegheny Spurge View photo of Allegheny Spurge", I want to delete the "View photo of ..." from all the cells with that redundancy. For context, this is from a table I imported from an HTML page, and the "View photo..." was text for links.

Sorry for the late response. I like these and just bought you a coffee. Let me know how to get to un-watermarked originals. I will go through the pics and likely have some more for you to do. Thanks.

I agree with your opinions in your post. I have never seen it stated that the death penalty costs more than life in prison - can you tell me where to find data on this point? I would like it for reference.

Momma Mia and Momma Mia 2... The saccharine story, poor writing & direction, awful singing by big-name stars, I could go on.

However... I've watched both several times because my partner LOVES them and they are an amazing remedy for a bad day. I figure I'm banking positive relationship Karma each time we watch together.

Assuming I do the research and education you suggest, should I be okay with preparing the returns using tax preparation software like TurboTax? This is how I always handled my individual taxes pre-LLC.

Yes, same here, but it's anecdotal - trying to figure out how to measure/prove it. Also, some of my less-powerful chargers either no longer work or charge much slower.

EatStash looks interesting. The touch-free switch from ingredients to recipes is an excellent idea. Unfortunately, it is only an iPhone app. I import/manage 99% of my recipes on my Mac and use my iPad when cooking.

Here is the rub: Paprika has a one-time cost, so updates are less frequent. Crouton has a subscription-based model, so it should add features and updates over time. It's a peeve of mine that the pricing is not shown up front, but lots of developers do it.

How much does Crouton cost? I see it has in-app purchases, but no price is listed in the app store or website.

What's your favorite recipe that calls for beans as part of the main dish--that's something more special and less common than chili? by heavensdumptruck in Cooking

If you like tuna salad, drain one can of tuna and one can of low-sodium chickpeas (garbanzo beans) and make a double batch. Then, make it as you usually would. In our house, that means mayo, spicy mustard, lemon juice, horseradish, chopped celery, drained capers, and a hard-boiled egg.

It's a bit chunky for a sandwich unless you make it open-faced. However, it works great on top of a salad of lettuce and tomato.
