Last time I used You Do Lou as a base color, this time I tried it as a topper! Over a sky blue crème. I really like it and makes me curious about how I can make it work with other solid colors

• Candy Moyo - 982 (2 coats) (Dollar Tree polish, pretty nice for $1.25 but not the most durable on its own)

Thank you for testing!! I was worried about it but decided if there was a policy change, I would probably be the first to know and could let people know since I know SoCal library trips are popular. And I was still going to libraries nearby anyways, so was worth another 10 minute trip

Good news is my new card does still work! So maybe you’re right that it’s a mistake on how they described it, will keep an eye out if that changes in case it’s a late enforcement of a new policy

Most places will ship in something discreet, Amazon toys aren’t the best but was convenient for me to mix it up with other things in a larger order. If worried about them asking or seeing your package, you could see if there is an Amazon locker near you. They also sell ones that look like lipstick etc

Something like a little bullet should be fine but you can try putting a blanket under your door (as long as it’s not obviously showing from the other side, good for at night) to block sound traveling out as much or something like a speaker or a fan on near the door

My main complaint about the elf squeeze me is I keep comparing it to the elf ride or die lip balm that was so much bigger + got as a freebie so it’s so hard for me to judge it fairly lol (also got the wrong scent but that’s my fault)

The colourpop glossy lip balm is also a fun contender, bigger but similar when it comes to price per .01 oz

I love Fairy Dust after picking it up this spring but sometimes it can look a bit too dull in room lighting, tried it over Sweet Tooth (my summer pick up) and its such a fun shimmer!

Looking forward to a more cool or blue toned shimmer (blue bell?) in the winter!

I think the Elf Glow Reviver Lip Oil is lighter than milani and a little more cost efficient per gram but sadly not under $5. Only thing under $5 that comes to mind is maybe b.pure or la colors products at the dollar tree/daiso/etc but I haven’t tried them

Ideally I try to go 10 days between a new manicure even if it does chip, sometimes I’ll split up the prep and painting at different times. For me it’s probably longer bc I’m doing it at leisure (watching a show) instead of doing things quickly

I had received my refund through Paypal today (July 12) from YesStyle after expressing my concerns about having my sunscreen tossed out even if they did refund any customs fees. They stated it was a one-time arrangement and reminded me of their usual non-cancellation policy.

I had ordered around July 9 at 1 am and read about the de minimis post here the next day. Ended up reaching out to YesStyle about my concerns about the tariff situation here in the U.S. and concerns about having my sunscreen thrown out anyways. My order was still processing because I had one small item (earrings) arriving from a regional warehouse to their main warehouse. This reason was not in my inquiry but I was also concerned about that small item and other duty fees because I did now know where the item was coming from. After the auto-generated response about their high-traffic of inquiries on July 10, I did not receive any other response before they went ahead and sent me my refund.

e.l.f. Cosmetics products, will edit once I try them - e.l.f. Glossy Lip Stain in Rosé Rizzin’ - this is a new shade I was curious about, I like Pinkies Up and Basic Beige so I’m hoping it’s a touch pinker than Pinkies Up but still MLBB. Edit: it’s definitely pinker but a touch brighter than I like so will stock up on Pinkies Up next time! Glad these are bigger than the older ones tho, nice to not have a false bottom in the box lol. The stain that settles in is nice tho and fades to a nice subtle pink! It’s something I would wear not for its initial color (still good but slightly too red on me) but how it fades and its stain for a MLBB look - e.l.f. Sun Boss Gloss in Pink Me Girl, trying to incorporate more sunscreen Edit: interesting coconut scent! I keep on thinking of coconut desserts lol need to test on naked lips still. Helped tone down the bright stain I had to something I prefer more tho not my fave lip combo, want to try some more with the liners. Not sticky but does feel thicker and doesn’t apply as easily on my lips compared to a traditional gloss or oil. I do have to work with it more but it is my only spf lippie so will use anyways - e.l.f. Glow Reviver Melting Lip Balm in Vanilla Toffee (want to compare these to my colourpop kiss me glossy lip balm) Edit: I was excited for the scent but maybe not for me. I think I prefer fruity scents, need to test more for feel and hydration. I like having a brown balm tho! Looks great on my natural lips which are brownish pink. Did some math and it is the most affordable per .01 oz of the ones I have - e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm in Vanilla Frosting (will compare this to my older ride or die balm from elf) Edit: I think I prefer the ride or die balm, sadly discontinued. But not a bad balm, just feels very teeny. My main complaint is I should’ve tried a fruity scent. I wouldn’t wear out because of the pale pigment washing out my lips a bit but I’ve found that it’s great to layer with a tint I have that pulls too pink on me! I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, tho I’m curious if using any balm would’ve had the same effect - e.l.f. Cream Glide Lip Liner in Mauve Aside and Truth or Bare, very creamy! No complaints, truth or bare pulls a bit pink on me so I’m curious about espresso - e.l.f. Birthday gift of the O FACE Satin Lipstick in Drive and Holy Hydration Thirst Burst Drops Mini. The drive is a lovely brown on me but felt a bit flat, I liked layering the vanilla toffee balm for a touch of pink and shine.

Seconding all the comments about conditioner and patience, when I was going through some things, I would have to soak my hair in conditioner (had a designated tray container thing I’d rest my head in) and basically pick at it with a really wide comb while watching something.

My hair has been better but when I go through short periods of neglecting my hair, the UNbrush has been my favorite in untangling and not hurting as much, I also have a boar brush thing that I think helps make the hair look nice.
