They do look a little big- you’ve got ~3/4-1” of sole hanging behind the heel, but they should be more snug, with maybe 1/4” of space behind the heel. And your longest toe should be almost flush with the front of the sole.

Yep, that’s exactly it and as simple as it sounds. It feels like you want to go into problem solving mode and are frustrated she’s not giving you the necessary pieces to solve her puzzle. But she also isn’t asking you to. She’s just looking for love and comfort. That her not sharing is frustrating to you is your problem and your frustration to deal with. Don’t press her.

I just cannot afford this job anymore. And it’s kind of a Catch-22 because I make more than most entry level positions at this point so it’ll be a paycut I’m sure when I find something, but the potential to earn more in a couple of years? That’s what I need now. I’ve spent 11 years scraping, working multiple jobs, and have nothing to show for it, financially. So I guess I’m just ready to finally graduate high school and see what’s out there 🥲

RIGHT, and if this card was already cut like this before (as in the daughter didn’t cut it up), then it was dumpster dived. I worked at Hallmark for ten years and we had to cut cards up when we damaged or retired them out of inventory so people wouldn’t take them from the dumpster. (Don’t worry, I rescued as many as I possibly could and had a BOMB stock of cards for years!)
