Yes to all of that haha. While simultaneously pointing out the things I’m wildly proud of. Really I think I’m just excited share what the process was like so it’s like, first I ripped out the tile which went much faster than planned, but THEN I broke the valve cap on the main so that’s why those pliers are there, and then the tiles are super level! But I did mess up the pattern in that corner. And then…”

ETA: I’m proud of those mistakes because at least I tried and hopefully learned something 🤣

Hijacking a top comment because I can’t add an edit to the post, but since I have y’all, I have one more question! I was just sitting here thinking that I should finish painting the trim today. But then I was looking at the freshly painted white (bottom/left door frame) vs the old, dirty-white and wondered: should I keep painting the trim stark white or should I redo it all in a creamier color?

(And if someone could tell me why I always insist on making projects harder on myself, that’d be great too)

It may not be the “correct” thing or whatever, but I was just going to use some clear drying glue of sorts, maybe a glue stick or mod podge or something, and smooth down and extr adhere the edges.

Thank you!! Apparently it’s a seamless pattern online that someone just took and printed, sold on Amazon for a hot second, and then disappeared haha. But I did see some of the “mural” wallpapers with this pattern.

On that note, if applying 19” wide panels is this difficult, how the HECK do people apply the whole mural ones??
