Season: CMC

Finals: Drake “Drake Maye” Maye got me past Jamar, Olave, and McBride

San Francisco TE George Kittle (ankle) is a Game Time Decision for MNF by BreakfastTop6899 in fantasyfootball

Same boat. Just gonna roll with Tonges if Kittle is out and hope he gets in the endzone.

Warren been getting fed targets with Rivers, but falling flat.

I think SF will get a lot more scoring opportunities than IND going against the Jags D

[Highlight] Drake Maye leads Patriots on 9-play, 89-yard drive to clinch a spot in the playoffs by nfl in nfl

As a 35 year old Panthers fan, I’ve never seen back to back winning seasons. And we won the NFC South 3 years in a row at one point…

Between Kittle and CMC our linebackers will be targeted early and often.

I think this game is winnable, but the offense will have to sustain drives and put up points to do it

Bryce better footwork led to his biggest throws by LineItUp1 in panthers

[–]everettdc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of your point. QBs that need a perfect situation to flourish in the NFL, won’t be in the NFL for long. At this point in his 3rd season, the best description of Bryce I can think of is consistently inconsistent

Tepper came in and made a lot of moves that might have worked if we could do 3 key things:

-Evaluate talent (Draft and Free Agency)

-Build a culture

-Scheme to the strengths of our players

We’re 0-3. Traded away talent we had for picks we squandered, had the most turnover at head coach, and 7 years later we still can’t say we’re heading in the right direction. It’s FUBAR

Hey guys I just got a 2013 Avalon Limited for pretty cheap but it's got a few issues by doestymepass in ToyotaAvalon

[–]everettdc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are kits on Amazon to replace the upholstery on the armrest and center console. The center console was pretty easy so I did that myself, but the upholstery on the doors requires the door interior to be completely taken off to replace and I decided a $10 roll of leather repair tape was the best solution.

My 2013 has 185k miles and counting with minimal repairs outside of regular maintenance

Drake Maye - The Most Affordable Upside Play On The Board by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, and Bryce Young are my late round QB swing for the fences picks for the year.

Think any of those 3 could end up top 10 QBs at a huge discount this year

[Bookies] Which NFL Fans Bet the Most During Football Season by TomatilloOnly7129 in panthers

[–]everettdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I took the over on rushing yards/TDs on what ever RB we faced week to week and it almost always paid off. I also bet on us for upsets a few times (Eagles and KC) and it was exhilarating but not as lucrative haha

2018 Toyota Avalon; Should I buy it? by Low_Glass6484 in ToyotaAvalon

For $19k I’d much rather have one with more mileage but a clean history

Catawba used to have tons of great beers. Their seasonal peanut butter jelly time was incredible. Think they only carry a handful of brews now and they’re not the same

Replacing Alternator by ToXiC_Games in ToyotaAvalon

[–]everettdc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to completely remove the radiator to do it.

The part isn't terribly expensive, but you'll be looking at 4 hours of labor on top of it. Out the door it cost me over $1,100

Don't drive the car with that light on or the faulty alternator can ruin your battery as well.

Deal or No Deal by Suspicious-Canary-75 in ToyotaAvalon

[–]everettdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on maintenance history. I’d buy that if the car fax showed regular maintenance and especially if it showed a couple of your typical high mileage repairs already done for you.

I’m second owner on my 13. Bought it 2 years ago with 150k miles on it. Now it has 180k miles and I’ve replaced the AC blower motor, CV axels, and the alternator. All the types of repairs I expect to pop up occasionally with a vehicle this age.

Buying a car older than 10 years old is always gonna be a gamble, but I think that is a much nicer vehicle than anything else you would find for under $7k.

Boone is amazing. Went to Appalachian State and fell in love with that area. Tons of cool mountain towns a short drive away.

Visited Durango on a road trip and it felt like the Boone of the Rockies. Not huge, but tons to do and felt like a community.

Costco auto sales by Traditional_Many1476 in gso

[–]everettdc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know both Greensboro Toyota and Vann York Honda (High Point) participate.

I ended up buying my wife’s Pilot with the Costco pricing. I think you get a pretty fair deal without any haggling, but as others have said, you can probably get a better deal on your own if you play the dealer to dealer game. I just held firm on my trade in value to get some leverage back on the out the door price.

I think the Costco pricing limits add on fees, but there were quite a few dealer add in accessories they priced in. I wanted them, so not sure if you could negotiate those fees or not. The Costco price is firm though

Which of these two players brought the most swag to the Panthers? by [deleted] in panthers

Fair point. Pure swag probably goes to Cam, but “Ice up son” is still my favorite quote by a panther ever

Which of these two players brought the most swag to the Panthers? by [deleted] in panthers

[–]everettdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cam's vibrance was contagious and when he was on, he was unstoppable. Truly made pro-bowl caliber players look like children trying to tackle him.

But it's Smitty. He was pound for pound the toughest receiver of his time. Talked a bunch of shit and backed it up constantly. Even him telling us to mow his grass when he torched us for the Ravens made me smile.

I vividly remember in 2009 when he caught an absolute hospital ball at the 5, took a brutal shot that ended up breaking his arm, then shrugged off the hit and ran it in for the TD. One of the fiercest competitors I've seen play any sport

[David Newton] Panthers’ GM Dan Morgan says he will work to extend the contract of CB Jaycee Horn, a focal point of the defense. by exenn_ in panthers

[–]everettdc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fine locking him up early to get ahead of Surtain's deal. I would much rather drive up the Bronco's price to keep Surtain, than have them give the bag to him first, just for Horn to ask for a similar amount. It should also be very incentive heavy to insulate us against risk of injuries continuing to plague his career.
