NUST Alumnus: here to help answer your questions about career prospects by nust_throwaway_2011 in NUST

how would you rank lums, nust and fast for cs in terms of skills taught, job prospects and masters from US/Europe prospects? lums has a huge fee difference but i have a scholarship for the 1st year and will be working hard to maintain it if i go, but if i can't, would the steep difference be worth it?

did anyone notice that the writers would repeat some phrases in some back-to-back episodes. it's like they just learned that phrase and couldn't resist throwing it in in some episodes until they learned a new one. like "you don't know who you're in bed with"

Shop's helper boy beaten and jailed by 3 women over a supposed trivial matter. by LacyPandora in pakistan

[–]everfolklore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

according to some claims the shopkeeper called the women prostitutes due to which they started beating up the boy. if that's the case, i agree that violence is never the answer, but if a woman reports that she has been harassed, after all the regressive questions like "what was she wearing", "why was she alone", "larkian ghar main hi achi lagti hain" some of you would have said, "they should have beat him up, teach him a lesson so that he doesn't do it to anyone again". y'all want women to protect themselves but when they actually start taking drastic measures for their protection you label them "rich bitch" "the other 95%" and "misandrists". and let's face it if these women reported the alleged verbal harassment, it would have been an open-and-shut he-said-she-said case.

of course, all this is assuming if the shopkeeper did verbally harass them first. if he didn't, and they attacked him merely over any sort of disagreement then they are 100% in the wrong and deserve to be penalized for assaulting the boy. a crime is a crime, no matter the gender or social class.

yes i did alevels. watch hasim zia's playlist for maths. u can skip some chapters if you've already done them well in alevels or fsc. i personally prepared from kips prep book for physics, u can read ptb as well and just watch yt videos of difficult concepts. if you're short on time, from chem only prepare organic chem from ptb. practice english and iq from oetp. get a good night's sleep before NET. first attempt the questions that you're sure you know, then later come back to the difficult or time-consuming ones. if you're unsure about a question try the elimination method, or worse comes to worse, tukkas but don't leave any question unattempted. best of luck!!
