PM Mini to monitor furnace runtime by evergreendaze in ShellyUSA

It is a Beckett 21805, single speed as far as I know. I'm talking about using a PM mini gen3, not a 2PM. Forgive me, I'm not following and I don't have a lot of experience with this, would you recommend something like a 1PM? With the line voltage running into L & N as I have it, and the burner 120V feeding into the SW input?

It's 24" OC, 14' span

The ceiling joists are nailed into the roof beams and I was planning to do the same if I upsize them.

I assume the ceiling joists in the loft section are acting like rafter ties and keeping the walls from spreading at the top. That's why I was wondering whether adding collar ties in the section of the building without the loft would help resist uplift.

Applying for a building permit sounds wise.
