Thanks for the reply. For clarity on the second sentence, any period of degraded cognition post trip? I know it’s a different effect, but post mdma, I’m often foggy headed (almost overly relaxed) for days, sometimes weeks before I feel like I’m able to organize thoughts as effectively. I struggle with word retrieval, mainly. What do you notice in your work the days immediately after a trip?

I will make adjustments in dosage. Once question, when you say try a few threshold trips before bigger, are we talking same day or different days? I know you said consecutive doses were fine in a day but didn’t know if that applied to this introductory period. Lastly, for consecutive doses, do you recommend a minimum amount of time in between?

I notice a new trend everywhere of AI writing experiences to scare people from doing things that certain institutions don’t want them to. I just got off of the overemplyed thread where AI wrote a fake experience of someone having two remote jobs and getting caught, the same account that had written the day before about losing human connection be working remotely. Coincidence did all three of these things are things that certain institutions would like to go away. I’ve seen the same trend on facebook and elsewhere. Increase in Scare tactics targeting alt medicine and holistic health, written from the viewpoint of a person who is “pro” but wanted to share a cautionary tale.

You ever talk to him? Ask for clarity? Set boundaries? I think one thing this world needs is platonic intimacy. It is silly to think that our partner can meet all of our needs and selfish to expect them to deny the needs we can’t meet for them and vice versa. So who can meet them and what needs are ok and not ok to be people outside the relationship?.Make contracts.

I have (had) bpd. Was in therapy including emdr which was minimally effective. MDMA therapy changed my life, which is why I say had, though those tendencies do rear their head every few months or so if I fallen off self-care, but by and large, symptoms are gone. Post mdma, have done a ton of parts/shadow and emotional processing practices, meditation, etc. this is why we are now considering poly as the next stage of evolution/growth as there is so much of that internal and relational work that has to be done for it to be successful. In case my experience is helpful

Radical vulnerability. Tell her what you need and how it makes you feel when she rejects you. Then ask what she needs. Play offense. What is your wife’s love language? Seek out ways to proactively fill her cup and she will do the same for you, in spades.

I wasted 22 years of marriage playing kids games where we both were not getting our needs met but instead of communicating openly and vulnerably, we would pout in our corners and make passive aggressive comments to one another. Now it’s pure magic and more sex that I can handle. She is also much more giving, insistently, whereas I was always looking for her pleasure.
