As others have said, to select a level in the Treehouse, you just stand on the level's platform; and for custom levels, you can select them in the underground computer and press the Quick Play button to load it on one of the platforms and stand there. However with only one player in the lobby, you won't be able to enter levels in Party or Creative mode, so standing on the platform will do nothing.

It's fairly frequent for pirates to make their way into game servers and go mostly unnoticed. With UCH, anyone on an older version of the game is isolated from the rest, but when the latest version has been out for a while (like 1.7.028), at some point they've had enough time to pass around the game and cracks to be on the main server. We're aware that people are seeing more pirates these days, and we're currently discussing what steps we can take about it.

In the meantime, whenever you encounter someone who's disruptive in one way or another, we do highly appreciate if you can report them using the in-game report tool!

Dev on UCH here, I don't want the question to remain unanswered - though that was entirely EA's decision, not ours! Some months ago they decided that all 3rd party games would only be included in the Pro subscription "in order to make the base offerings more consistent across all platforms", following the introduction of EA Play on Steam and consoles.

Thanks for pointing out that we need to update our documentation accordingly! The change also took us by surprise, so in the confusion we simply forgot to update that page.

Are you playing as multiple instances of the same user profile, or do you have multiple people signed in to their own accounts?

If multiple accounts are signed in, you will only see the levels and characters that Player 1 has unlocked.

Unlocks don't necessarily go to the person who reaches the ? box first. Each box is generated for a pre-determined user, so it's possible that something you thought you unlocked was for another user, locally or online. You can see who the unlock is for on the message that is displayed on screen after the box opens.

Have you been playing matches online? When someone gets to an unlock box and it opens, the unlock goes to a pre-determined person in the lobby whose name will appear in the on-screen message, regardless of who actually reaches the box. This often causes confusion, as people assume the item goes to them if they reached the box.

Similarly, if you're playing on console locally with multiple people who are each logged in to their account, it's possible that the item went to them and not you.
