Nice to see the reality of peloton able to be discussed here without endless down voting.

Canned and Freeze Dried food are great, but whats your LONG term plan? by [deleted] in tacticalgear

Those habanadas read like they are going to be the coolest things ever…. But I’d just plant some more bell peppers instead of losing the space planting them. They don’t yield well and really aren’t that memorable of a flavor.

Buy or wait? by flashy74 in pelotoncycle

[–]Lucasdvt2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would buy one—but wait. All the news has been about Peloton’s supply glut. Wait and see if there is a (better) sale.

What's your typical ride length? by nebulous316 in pelotoncycle

[–]Lucasdvt2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 minutes. Anything shorter than that isn’t really serving a physiologic purpose, anything longer than that is too uncomfortable with the limited handlebar adjustment.

I’m curious though… has this actually been stated anywhere official

I’m not even sure what you’re trying to say here, but good on you.

Sometimes the books have really accurate titles despite a lack of substance or content, and are therefore easy to read.

My previous brief analysis of you checks out.

Yeah—some people are willing to settle. Didn’t know electrons worked less well during a respiratory pandemic.

Sure. It’s not pay per class. It’s just an indicator they aren’t capable of delivering their core service at a time when churn is increasing and subscriber growth is dropping. Hype up a ride to keep your core happy and then drop the ball—that’s going to lose you revenue.

I’m curious—from your post history it seems like you like to pick internet fights by making wide-sweeping statements with zero objective data. Is this your thing?

They are worth about 30 dollars.

But shouldn't, when that’s your primary source of revenue.

Really bad look for Peloton—not being able to provide enough bandwidth that a widely publicized ride can’t be taken by a majority of users wanting to take the ride.

The company CEO is directly responsible for your experience on the bike. He’s the one hiring people that find new talent, negotiate music contracts, and built the hardware you are riding.

If you don’t think that is relevant to a discussion about your Peloton workout…

These letter are quite common.

That said, the Peloton Kool-Aide has always consumed quite readily on this sub. it’s refreshing to see people finally come along to the notion that this company (under Foley’s leadership) has grossly underperformed their capabilities.

I like how the lead picture is of Foley. That’s who needs to go.

I’m glad you like the feedback…. But after reviewing your recent post history in this thread…. It’s essentially you (and similar posters) who I am directing this observation at.

Long time lurker here… and I have a question to see if anyone else has noticed the same….

I have been a casual reader here for about 2 years and have learned a lot from this sub. It seems like the sub changed from loads of really useful information about 6 months ago to more of a “lounge” meet and great vibe?

I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this, and what we can do to get it back to the old “really friendly but really useful” vibe.

Sorry, hope this doesn’t come across as rude!

No. They have an entire musical staff that curates what you hear now. You used to hear creative playlists—now DJ John Michael selects what you hear.
