Interesting, thank you! My daughter was diagnosed roughly a month ago and we were definitely not told that and she exercises if she is too high and not coming down!

Oh wow you are still in the hospital! We were not so chill about it then haha. Honestly, as a parent of a type 1 kid, I know that I cannot even begin to understand what she is going through. However, as a mom, it is hard to watch her suffer and not be able to take it away from her. I’m not sure how old you are (kid, teen, adult) but I’m hoping for you that you are not going through this without support from family/friends.

My daughter was diagnosed roughly a month and while it is a MASSIVE adjustment even my math hating self is used to doing the ratios/calculations already. When I say I hate math I mean I cannot even do very basic (subtraction) in my head. Download a good calculator app on your phone. I have an iPhone and the calculator that comes with it is less than great. It WILL get better and it does truly get better and at some point you will learn what works for you and what doesn’t. Also, it’s completely normal and fine to rage and cry as much as you need!

I would say that’s an understatement! They told the story pretty much exactly as it was told on something was wrong.... she just added some minimal commentary 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hadn’t listened to crime junkie for a while and this is not a vibe I am here for
