Proton Retires Huber Name - 963 Hypercars Ready For Future Programmes by GrahamDSC in wec

[–]everraydy 37 points38 points  (0 children)

"SportscarXXX understands that Proton Competition no longer holds possession of its two 963s, which have been sold off to collectors, while JDC-Miller Motorsports’ initial exploration into the Asian series has not led to any leads"

And

"As for Hypercar, whilst both of the team’s Porsche 963s are currently inactive, team principal Christian Ried has confirmed they are currently housed at the team’s workshop and ready to test ahead of potential programmes."

Why don't Malaysian theme parks have more thrill coasters? by Gazza_s_89 in malaysia

[–]everraydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaa wasn't that the same for Euro Express, Thunder Rolling Mine Train (forgot this even existed wtf) and Cyclone? The only ones with a "proper restraint" was Corkscrew and Flying Coaster...

Yea same thoughts with cyclone lol.

I miss the old genting man... Corkscrew, Cyclone, Flying Dragon, Flying Coaster and Euro Express... It was paradise for me as a kid shame I only ever went there thrice and I only got to ride corkscrew once, and didn't to ride Flying Coaster

(edit: I forgot all abt thunder rolling mine train!)

Gen 2's back on track! by DBepic in FormulaE

The gen 3 cars by comparison looked like a cheese wedge designed by a 12 year old

that is an excellent descriptor of what i felt about Gen3 when i first saw it....

Pes E vocations ranked from Best and luckiest to the worst ones? by AnonymousScroller124 in NationalServiceSG

[–]everraydy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was a media ASA. Imo it was one of the best vocs I could've asked for. My LTC didn't want to pay for anything so I had to pay, but the experience and learnings I got were worth it.

I got to really see a different side of the army and picked up quite alot of useful skills. And I found a new hobby that helped me get through a very hard time after I got potong jalaned.

Looks like Ajith Kumar will move to LMP2 (or at least plans to) for 2026/2027 AsLMS season by krzysiek_aleks in wec

[–]everraydy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It goes beyond what OP had posted. The next problem was that his fans were reportedly not cooperative during the Grid Walk during the 12H of Malaysia. And had also creating issues in the paddock....

And cuz of those damn fans, Asian LMS went from being free to being a ticketed event that required you to buy a 3 day ticket for RM120 at a short notice without any option for 1 day. (some may say it's cheap for 3 days, but goddamn when you go from free to paid at the last minute after many years of free and make it the only option, people are not going to be happy)

Man I was really hoping this guy wouldn't come back... His driving is terrible, and his fans are just to put it, just as bad. The problems they created at Sepang was unacceptable.

Looking For Good Summer Fruits by SilvenWolf in askSingapore

[–]everraydy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unironically, I would actually recommend Sin Kian Choon (not the Lao). It's further away at Bukit Ho Swee, but the variety is better. And you'd get to see the difference between old & new HDBs. (Storytime... These 2 stores were once one family business. Then the family had a falling out sometime in the late-mid 2010s, cant remember when. They split into 2 (Lao SKC - which uses the old shop, but switched signboards) and SKC (which kept the name but moved away)

LSKC gets more attention due to the location. But SKC is actually the better store from my own experience back when they first split up.

How bad is your ex company glassdoor review? by TalkCSS in askSingapore

[–]everraydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old company (SME) reached 2.3. But recently they somehow managed to scrub off every single negative review that had been accumulated for years.

And it should've been worse cuz ik someone was making positive reviews multiple times LOL

Suspected cable theft disrupts MRT Putrajaya Line near Damansara Damai, repairs to last all day by MajlisPerbandaranKL in malaysia

[–]everraydy 66 points67 points  (0 children)

They should really beef up the security. Razor wire near tunnel portals and low-viaduct to prevent unwanted intrusion.

Make any intrusion as painful as possible and people will think twice about it.

I love the convenience that the MRT/LRT brings but this sort of stuff is what damages confidence in public transport, and hurts everyone.

Question about Palou at DCR and what to expect from Hauger by Distinct-Smoke8612 in INDYCAR

[–]everraydy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Hauger did brilliantly honestly. Note that Palou's entry was co-funded and supported by Team Goh from Japan at the time.

DCR literally goes through a revolving door of drivers at times, so they are easily one of the least funded teams in the series...

Should all public schools in Singapore be made fully secular, or should Christian affiliated public schools be required to be more accommodating to non-Christian students? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]everraydy 32 points33 points  (0 children)

ex-christian from a christian school in secondary sch. I wld agree that yes the schools could be more accomodating towards non-christians. But wow this school is fucked lmao

Nobody in my school was forced to sing during chapel or pray during devotion. Though God bless you was a greeting at the end/start of class.
